With that pocket speed and angle of approach, new cloth and clean balls....that same shot can be made.all day long![]()

Being playing on newish Diamonds lately and noticed that if you knuckle a ball they trap and stay right over the pocket, is this normal for Diamonds?
The Derby City Classic-
it's late/early and my shoe comes untied- I'm holding a bottle of water, I place in a pocket of a vendor table so I can tie my shoe,
and
GULP!
Table ate my bottle!Couldn't retrieve it. :sorry:
Are you sure

BTW I am not rattling shots and don't have an accuracy problem, I make centuries on my home table a 6x12 with 3-1/8" pockets so it's not an issue.
I am just commenting in general about the cut of the pockets.
I am assuming you are talking about the 2 ball bank? The 2 ball hits the long rail less than a diamond from the pocket on a pretty shallow approach angle at a little more than pocket speed, add a little more speed and that ball does not go.
Me too, and still don't know which Scotty ran 168 racks of ten ball while we're at it....
