Dippy is back

I agree with the POS part, but disagree with the good for action part.

Look at all the BS he caused when he was around, and how the year he was at the DCC was listed as the worst year for action yet. Nevermind all the talk about removing him from winning the DCC Louis Roberts award.

The pool world doesn't need this guy around any more with this 12-4 or 15-3 whatever the game is, it's just not needed.

I think u need action no matter what..Pool action is st the all time high right now compared to the last decade. Several places u can go and bet 20 k right now. I think dippy is good for it .Even if some think he is bad action he draws a crowd to the pool room..that brings chances for games.
 
You personally bet, and YOU are good for pool, no bs, no yapping, play and that's that.

Why is the circus act that he brings good for pool? Only a select few can even play with the ridiculous weight he wants,

He reminds me of the proverbial dancing bear ("Of course it's wonderful that the creature can dance at all, but it's still a horrible dancer). It's of moderate interest that he bets the kind of money he does, if that's what floats your boat. But if he's a pool player, I'm the king of China.

Thanks..I appreciate it. To me he just creates a room full of ppl that result in action.I dunno..
 
Dippy is not good for pool. He plays top players with spots they cannot possibly out run. He entices players by betting high, but what good does it do how much money he bets if you cannot win. Dippy is a guy that has too much money and uses his money to buy his friends. How many friends would Dippy have if he was broke?

Probably closer to users and losers trying to be Dippy's friend because he has money. I think that you give Dippy too little credit, I think that he knows exactly where he stands and just enjoys the action and attention...he's the one pulling the strings, not the other way around.

And I don't even know him. :thumbup:

I asked then...and I ask now....How would you like to be betting ON him?
...you'd be stuck.

The Rack has been a popular thread....I got a news flash for y'all....
...there were a lot of guys like David Peat there....
...and people that like action...loved it.

Hey Tommy, I think you misinterpreted what I meant by good action. I meant more that the right people can snap him off for some serious $$$....not that he is good action/character to play against.

I seen him play more than most back then and all of the above is very true..... If he had got any of the spots he has the past few years back then, he would have heisted every single game with ZERO chance of losing.
 
How else would pool players make big money they could immediately give to casinos? How many would have the opportunity to stay in the Whale Room at the Aria for a week without Dippy?

Stuck? are you kidding me. I would love to be betting on him. I would be way up, Only time he is loses, is because he is dumping the rail.

I think Dippy has paid out more $$$ to pool players than Bonus Ball has.

Dippy lost a lot of money and any gambler would like to see him in a poolroom. I understand most people on this site are not gamblers ,so, they really don't understand.
