Everyone talking about Earl, and Donnie is doing a bang up Job on the right side... I like underdogs, but I like rooting for a guy with a job even more!
i guess it's time to be a bad guy AGAIN!?? lol.
i sold cars for several years, i gotta tell ya.......i would have had ALOT MORE time to play pool, if i had OWNED the carlot, as opposed to WORKING there every day. and unless im quite mistaken...Mr.Mills OWNS a carlot. this "working-man" stuff is just SO old. to make sales, i showed up every morning, early, to get the first ups on the lot...and i was the last to leave every night, in case there were stragglers walkin around kickin tires....and never once, was the owner around. he did go to auctions to get used stock, but other than that, he was only stopping in occassionally to make sure he looked like he was checking up on things. lol.
Mr.Mills is a great player, and players don't get that good without alot of play and practice.......alot more than we are led to believe by the "workin' man worshippers". think about it, i mean really.
geeez.
Yeah he just matched up even with lee van corteza...thats pretty solid.
earl is on the left side now, I think Donnie just started his match, My back started to hurt too much so I left, Its a great tournment but not many people from the west coast this year.

I'm sure he had to do some "work" to initiate a business that would provide him w/ the funds to play in big tournaments and match up for large dollar values. Also, you don't necessarily know the size of his operation. It could be a small, used carlot w/ 3 people. I knew a guy in FL who had one like that and actually did very well and it was him and two salesmen....which required quite a few hours from him daily, needless to say. Now, for a HUGE car operation - of course you probably won't see the owner as much.
Howd that turn out?

The Lone American stands in the Final Four.
GO, DONNIE, GO!
Man, it would be so cool to see him snap this off!![]()
I'll try to remember and spell it correctly, as I root for one of our AZ posters. And yea, I think if you win the Open title, you can't ask for weight from anyone, you just have to learn to say No, to anyone you don't feel like you can beat even.
GO DONNY GO. SNAP IT OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
