I just found out the score, sorry for the delay. I haven't been on here in a while. I just moved to lower Delaware this past week. I have to set-up a Paypal account, just PM me an email address. If you want to wait until the Derby I will be there the entire time, I will throw in a steak dinner. Let me know what you want to do and thanks for the action.

I have accepted numerous sweat bets online. This is the only bet that didn't pay up. Had I lost, funds would have been transfered the following business day.
 
He also left me his phone number, which I did not post. I called and left a message for him twice during the DCC. I sent him a text 2 days ago saying I expected to see some response. I have made every fair effort to allow him to right this. He asked me to wait until Derby to make it easier for him and he would add a steak dinner. Never being averse to a free meal, I said no problem. I have not been able to get in touch with him at all since the DCC.
 
I just added a link to the post. It was only for $50, but more the principle of the matter.
 
Whenever someone offers 'interest' on money owed, either from a bet or a loan - you can guarantee that you will not be getting paid. They are trying to defer from the fact that they won't be paying you. Like a bad KT infomercial, the deal just keeps getting better & better but you are still receiving NOTHING.

If the guy didn't want to use Paypal, he could have sent you a money order, 5 rolls of quarters, or a check.

People tend to think that welching on a bet is different from stealing from you. They all need to learn that it is exactly the same thing. I hope you get your $50 but don't hold your breath. If you do, I have a list of scumbags that owe me money that I would love for you to collect on.
 
I agree. I've been waiting since April to be paid back, for a lesson in Atlanta that I got paid with a bad check (I'm owed $320)! All I get are sob stories...:eek: :mad:

You would think a guy making a bet like that for all to see would pay up and pay up quick. I see his rep is in the red now. Maybe he'll learn a lesson..........maybe.:rolleyes:
 
My guess is from now on he's gonna be covered with 10 1/2 foot pole marks when it comes to money stuff on here
 
I don't care...

whether it is selling cues, making bets or whatever...a person has to work pretty hard to gain a real crappy reputation on this forum.
But if you think that was hard...its nothing compared to how hard you are going to have to work to get rid of that reputation once you have achieved it.
People continue to amaze me.:(
