I don't know when Diamond's first tables came out but I don't think they had been around to long in 1990. Thanks for posting it has been awhile since I watched these.

I just posted the 1990 Lexington Open finals on Youtube. It is between Earl Strickland vs Dave Bollman. This may be the best Earl I have seen. Enjoy!

Does anyone have the video of Earl sharking the player who use jump cue many years ago? Or the one where he walk out on the match with corey as he was piss corey was using his soft break.

Thanks for the download. I hadn't seen this one, and this gotta be right around when he was accumulating all those championships. A few thread the needle position shots and using just enough english to get the cue ball to the right place. Someone gave him the key to a steamroller for this one!

These are fantastic to watch. I wouldn't go as far as to say the best earl ever as he isn't quite perfect, but he does run out a ton and make some beautiful shots

Check out the comment on this vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1pjv_JlgwQ

Is the goof with the AlTeRnAtInG CaPs and retarded "first!" comment maybe Donny Mills? He's supposed to own a car dealership in florida. I hope it's not, I can't imagine a grown man with his own business posting like that :/

Thanks for the link.
A great Earl to watch, and his swing/arm is nice looking in this time. But his grip is so far in front. What's the height of Earl if anybody knows?

I noticed this about Earl's stroke too. That is his grip hand being more forward (forward of 90 degrees at contact of CB too) and his stroke much shorter than it is today. Earl is 6 feet I think.

Did anyone else notice Freddie in the background of the trophy presentation. You can only se him when camera flashes go off, but that guy sure looks like Freddie.

I would much rather see this video then either of those, some want to see Earl shine and others want to see him whine.

When Earl is in focus of the game, not the crouwd or the other player, there is no one I enjoy watching as much as Earl. He shoots quick, thinks fast, makes some incredible shots along the way.

When he's being an ass, I turn it off. All that talent. Give it to some young hard practicing teen that won't throw it away. Johnnyt

What you said reminds me of the movie Amadeus
