In case you've forgotten, I used to always be in Earl's corner and have taken a lot of heat on this forum over the years because of it.
I have never been to one of Earl's exhibitions, but I have read very positive reviews that folks in attendance have written.
Earl and Shane are both super stars of pool. Earl has been long time favorite US player and Shane is the bright shooting star. However, no one can challenge when Earl speaks, every one gets drawn in! He's got an addictive personality and with all the great positive feedback from fans how awesome & funny Earl is at CSI Grand Master Exhibitions, the choice was more than obvious.
We are also aware that Earl has can be controversial - however, no living US player has accomplished more than he has and that is something everyone knows
We at the CSI are honored and excited to have Earl affiliated with the USAPL -the league that will build a bond between amateur and pros

I was fortunate to see the team at the BCAPL Nationals in May, and Earl especially put on quite a show. Hope to see him in action again next year, and not just in the hallway entertaining fans but in the US Open 10 Ball. :grin:

It's a team effort at CSI with Mark, CEO as the lead. The national manager of the USAPL is a collegue of ours, Mark Estes, who has been working tirelessly the past 18 months getting everything in order. We all wear multiple hats and in 25 years of my professional life, never worked with a more clear cut, dedicated and talented group.
BTW...Earl clocks a 6 to 6.5 minute mile when he runs. That impresses the heck out of me - don't know to many peeps can do that and Earl does it several times a week.

No problem:wink: Mark is highly blessed and will be the first one to admit that he is surrounded by team of staffs who are highly dedicated and take pure pride in their work. He considers CSI staff as a family & friends and the relationship/dynamic in the office is incredible!

It's like a family....
ZERO turnovers tell you how happy people are to be a part of it. That speaks volumes in itself.
You tell John C......that he's an awfully lucky fellow!
My only real suggestion for a fun league that would attract serious pool players that are serious about their game would be to have a league that plays exclusively on the big tables.
Don't get me wrong, in my very limited recent exposure to small tables, I've developed a bit of respect for those that really play well on the small tables. But there's another side of me that still believes small tables make the weekend warrior bangers that have only the gift of slow rolling straight appear to be better players than they really are.
People need to get out there and play on the big tables.
