Earl is a disgrace!

The best that could possibly be on PPV would be a real fight between JJ and The Pearl!

I would love to see JJ kick Pearl's arse!!!

Or REALLY, Earl should be on Bully Beatdown! He is such a disgrace.

Those that like Earl or say he is the best ever please consider how the other US players feel when he is acting up. He is not a team member at all. He is the best player on the other team!

Maybe one day some in this game will figure out what the Euro's have: If you want people to treat you as a professional you need to act like one.

And with that quote, you just won this thread.

So i'm supposed to be offended by what some international twats think about pool players in the USA. Cmon man there is probably twice as many people internationially that are watching this year because of Earl. Maybe next year we can get a whole team of panty wearing men because they will be better representatives of what the USA has become.

Earl is absolutely on medication that makes him crazy... He's mental and I feel extremely sorry for him. :(

I couldn't agree more

An embarrassment

Maybe he got away with it when he was at the top of his game but those days are gone.

I hope to never see him or hear him again

How bout you and 9 ball mike leave pool, then you won't have to see or hear Earl again.

ya i suppose i could post a picture of it finished with it's brown lizard wrap and ivory inlays, never thought of it looking like a cigarette butt.

Nobody likes to lose, especially Earl. He almost always gets pissy when he plays anymore. I love to see his fierceness, not his b!tchiness.

I wish they would've been playing across the pond so Earl could've got some of the "EUUUUUUUrup", drunkards to start throwing $hit at the Yanks. I fell asleep this year watching a team of our champions wait for a good roll instead of attacking the table. A race to six ain't for vultures and buzzards.

Earl's antics are far from an embarrassment in the MC. It's a brawl and prisoners get shot. We never fired up and followed Earl's lead. It's not the US Open where decorum is necessary. This setting was a perfect place for Earl and nobody backed him up!

Best,

The USA's two points came from wins in two doubles matches. Earl was in one of them, Rodney was in one of them, Shane was in both of them.

hey! an hour ago, i met _____ from AccuStats!
he was cool.
SJM introduced me.
(sorry, but i've already forgotten his name - no alcohol was involved - but if so, then it was ENTIRELY Barry's fault)

Earl came up harder than a coffin nail. That tends to make one leave the mainstream in many ways. He is hotter than John McEnroe one a bad line call and about a socially intelligent as Sheldon Cooper (has a smelly pooper) or Mr Spock.

I admire the skill and consider him the greatest living pool player in any of discipline. However, he is a raging sociopath and I sincerely pity anyone that has to endure the slow nuclear explosion that is his personality.

I saw a UTube video of Joe Rogan talking with him and he seemed to be okay. I never met the man, so I cant really judge if he really is for sure as bad as I totally think he is. He reminds me of my Elementary school Principal,,,, what an infernal Tool he was, and about as interesting as a brick wall.

I find Earl a joy to watch when his mouth is closed and his stroke is on.

I agree JAM. Kind of sad really..

I feel for Earl because of his demons.

Last thing I want to do is bash the guy..

As the commentator Jim Wych mentioned in the documentary, Earl has mental health issues i.e a bipolar disorder. He probably has little control over his outbursts. Someone close to him needs to get him some help.

Ripping on Earl seems like the flavor of the month as of late. He knows about his out bursts. He's not going to apologize for them.

With genius, comes madness.

I like Earl just the way he is.

This evening he tweeted "Congratulations to team Europe...". At least that's what came from his account. Learn to show some respect to your competitors Mr. Strickland, like you expect the world to acknowledge and respect you.

If Team USA would be playing well and winning, Earl would be moonwalking from shot to shot. So in a way, Earl is totally correct.

At least Earl makes it fun to watch. Watching our team get incinerated and sitting there like statues is like watch the same episode of Green Acres.....again.

Same here. I previously defended him. But he's embarrassing to everyone else. The Euro fan's behavior is not a factor this year as far as I saw. Yet his behavior is the same if not worse. Shut up and play pool or stay home.

He's been this way, and Just now your fed up?

Let's be realistic. There's a good chance the producers wanted him there to create controversy. The "Earl story" was huge encouragement and validation for Earl to go off and be the "notorious Earl" that they were doing a TV special about. I don't think the "Earl story" contributed a damned thing to pool unless negative contributions count as positive to some people.

Scientists couldn't measure how little you know what your talking about.

Yep. I'm not pretending that I used to defend him. I've just had enough. It was especially childish this time.

I've met and spoken to him in person. He isn't like that at all in person.

This wouldn't be acceptable in a local pool room money match. He would be told to shut up or else. Why the hell should it be acceptable in an internationally televised venue?

People who say they are fed up with Earl NOW, are like people who say they are tired of being slapped in the face, and on the sixteenth time they've had it. What about the first 10, for people that let it go that far. It's already past that point, it just sounds stupid to say something now.
