It's true with Tiger Woods and it's true with Earl....the difference is ...........
I know a lot about what Earl's had to face behind the scenes and although I don't agree with some things he does or says, I too understand him and his frustrations.
In any other sport he would be a multi millionaire and have many PR people covering for his "stuff"...and this happens on a daily basis in other sports.
The thing about life is, when you have that much talent in one area there'a always an equal/opposite reactive balance. The human mind isn't designed to be perfect.
It's true with Tiger Woods and it's true with Earl....the difference is Tiger has a staff of people to cover for him and Earl has no one.

In the 1980's, he was just a regular young guy with a lot of talent.
He was respectful and really liked everything to be perfect.
He wanted the tables to be perfect and everyone around the table to be quiet and still.
He just wanted everything to be perfect.
I guess me and Earl have some things in common and I understand him.

CJ is right. The top hot dog vendor in NYC makes $500K per year. The best at anything skilled should be paid like that. And every other pro athlete, regardless of sport, has access to handlers and pr. Had things been different in our industry, earl, warts and all, would be a revered American icon.

Earl , imho, did a rack shark reversal....the kid wasn't happy with 3-5 racks(shark?), so Earl keeps racking and racking and racking...even when Jeremy says//that's fine....Earl just keeps reracking.
Earl turned the shark around to his favor.....he good that way.
But above all...Earl can still flat out play...ball pocketing and the cb control is amazing.
He's a true artiste....but like many gifted individuals....there are demons to deal with.

Told Earl that he was going to win the whole thing before I left after his match with Karen. Glad he made it. He shot great against Karen.
