Earl/Shane score

Was hoping shane would still be trailing going into sunday.... could be over for earl now... at least earl made a game of it with his stipulations (breakbox + 9 on spot), otherwise shane runs away with it, prob still will.... I just don't see earl holding it together once shane gets to +5...

50-48 Shane. Could have been 50-45 except for an unforced error. I also would like to hear what Earl is blathering about. I always like hearing what the players are saying.

Bought it. Caught the last couple games. Will the last day be looped as well? Hope so, still on the road.

How does Shane run away with it without the 2 stipulations you mention?

Is this a serious question??? Shane had zero break and runs in day 1.... The same table he ran 38 racks of 10 ball, yes 10 ball in last match....

You honestly don't believe 9 on spot + breakbox has neutralized shane's biggest edge (break obv)???

In case anyone has forgotten the over/under line around here before match was a 7 pack.... No way that happens the way they're playing....

Speaks volumes that shane is leading at this point with his break making little or no difference in the match....

Looked like Shane pretty much agreed to any rule Earl wanted. I love it, it's almost like Shane is giving Earl a spot and still, he's leading after day 2.

Exactly, agrees to whatever comes into Earl's mind.... So there is nothing to cry about when all is said and done....

Didn't Shane also beat both Donnie and Mika on their home table/game???

Pretty strong folks.... How did he outrun that ryo deal w/donnie??? I think Donnie had 1 dry break out of like 80... unreal

....

Earl goes out on a limb that not many people are willing to...and he's been doing this for years. Go Earl!

This is anybodies match, it can go either way from the looks of it. :)

Hope you're right Lenny.... Would love to see this go down to the wire... No kids tom....

It's pizza, heine and watching two champions battle it out tom..... Gonna run stream through the big lcd for final day.... Taking the living room over... :D

The thing I wanted to hear Earl talking about is after he called a kick shot Shane ended up hooked and was trying to figure out what to do...Earl came forward and told Shane he called the one and Shane went, "oh." and had Earl shoot instead.

Earl lost the game and the camera was close up on his face as he was talking about sportsmanship and the commentators must not be able to hear him or don't care but listening to Earl was part of why I purchased the feed.

I wish Earl could find his perfect "chemical combination" and I really think he would be unstoppable. He just seems to be out of his mind half the time. He's got so much talent it's sick. Earl's biggest problem is himself.

I tend to think that Earl is dealing with a double edged sword.....

The drive, dedication, desire and passion required to place this game at the pro level ,much less world class pro level, is something that very few of us have.... Most of the people throwing stones at Earl have no concept of exactly what these guys have been willing to give up and go thru and lots of them don't make a living.....

I think Earl's biggest problem is he has tooo much passssssion... But when I think about it if he had no passion he would never have gotten to where he is or to be who he is..... He'd be some guy watching SVB playing someone else on TAR this weekend....

I missed tonight's feed, but must say how appreciative I am of AZ and this thread for "bringing" it. TY!

Tomorrow (oh sh1t, tonight) I, and Preacher Jeff, are having a TAR party with Earl's quasi-home pool hall fellows (Breakers, Greensboro). Can't wait!

50-48 after day 2? Seriously? I think the world of Shane, the utmost - UTMOST respect he deserves. Earl? Oh F... I'd like to say I understand him - being privileged to know him a tad, but, who knows Earl?.... Gotta do the homeboy root for him!!! I think his heart is in the right place.

Loving pool. Ship it MFers!

Yeah. Thats how it happened.

What I meant was at that juncture you were talking about how unsportsman-like Earl was behaving when up to that point he wasn't behaving very badly or at least not nearly as bad as he has in the past

He was banging his cue (as was Shane), clapping out of frustration (yes, poor behavior, but not horrendous- just mostly typical frustration from Earl), and making sure Shane followed the agreed upon rules for the break (if there are rules- they should be followed).

All I meant was, we all know how Earl behaves before this match started and should not be shocked when he acts up to a degree.

Actually, thus far Earl's behavior has been quite tame compared with his past. He has almost been well behaved, in fact, compared with the 10 foot match.

Anyhow, keep up the good work of promoting pool- I mean that sincerely.

I hope I can get my stream working properly tomorrow to enjoy the final day of the match.

Maybe Justin is beating Earl to the punch and stopping that sh*t before it begins. I know if this was my business I wouldn't want someone acting like that on my stream.
