yeah thanks a lot, i've only watched the first two parts and i've really been enjoying myself. Ervolino is playing flawlessly and the commentary by Billy and Danny are top notch like always.

Interesting they are discussing whether Earl can run 100. In the next match both Efren and Earl run over 100 at the same time on different tables.

Painful

That was painful to watch. After Johnny gets tired, Earl struggles through but manages to pull it off. Not very straight pool IMHO.

I have the rest of these from the maine event ... I hate to suggest that I could upload another to youtube cuz I don't want to be some pirate who is stealing from pat fleming >_<

On the other hand, I think more people should see these cool matches and I dunno how many reading this post plan on buying the dvds. I kinda think very few if any.

Are there any other top players beside Everlino and Jimmy Moore who use that slipstroke?

i like how at the end of the first rack billy says ervolino let the cue ball get away from him and is now gonna have to make a tough shot, not knowing that might have been exactly where ervolino wanted it, as he was known for big angle break shots.

Some of the best commentary ever on an accu-stats video.

Earl didn't play poorly, he had a couple of 50 ball runs which is certainly sporty.

This is a bump so I"ll have the subscription. Can't watch now but I dammed sure want to later.

Thank you David.

I found this video posted on youtube, but if you enjoyed it, show your support to Pat Fleming and Accu-Stats by purchasing the dvd - it is

I swallowed the bait, and hook and line and sinker :) . Thanks David

Close tables

I couldn't believe how close the neighboring tables were on both sides! They constantly battled with other players to shoot, screwing up everyone's rhythm. I hope they give 'em more space these days!

I love Danny D's commentary from a decade or more ago. He's still a good commentator, but it seems like he was sharper years ago. Favorite line from first video: "If you knew what you didn't know, you wouldn't not know it." I think I'm going to have to add that to my sig.

That is really not that unusual. It's just part of playing in pool tournaments. It is best to just get out of the way to allow the other player the space to evaluate and then shoot. The Miz was a big guy, and throughout that match, he did his best to stay out of Earl and Johnny's way (IMO).

WOW thanks for this. I haven't watched it yet - but thanks in advance!!!

You da man

Yogi-ism?

Yup, it appears Danny's got a few Yogi-isms in 'im as well. I can just year Yogi Berra coming up with this one -- or did he? (Danny often quotes Yogi.)

Thanks for this...

I'm shocked Johnny just made the opening break without checking the last row of balls. He left waaaay more than he should have.

Maybe he's just that smart that he knew what to leave Earl in order to get Earl to leave him a run of 80.

I've never seen Ervolino play before watching these videos, and I'm quite impressed with his touch. His stroke really looks shaky and tentative, but he manipulates the cue ball with great subtlety. And of course he plays like someone with decades of knowledge and experience as a great 14.1 player, which is to say I don't understand why he's choosing the patterns he's choosing, until all the sudden he's on the break shot and he didn't have to execute anything remotely difficult in order to get there.
