I don't think he tried to kick the 9 in,but coming 2 rails and thinning the ball to send it up table and create distance WAS his plan. Tommy D.
Hitting the ball was skill. Making that shot , hmm, Lenny you know the answer. I believe he was just trying to get separation after kicking it.
