Earl trickery

He just did another exhibition in Greece maybe 2 months ago....they love him! And you can see why...

Pay attention to the audience...they are going crazy. It's strange he gets that type reaction in foreign countries, and not here.

He was telling me in Asia he literally has trouble walking down the street, because of all the fans. Here in the U.S. nobody knows him.

He only made 5 'wing shots' in this video...I have seen him make 12 in a row, and then shoot another behind his back. 13 in a row!
 
I have seen him several times in person shoot those wing shots. He rolls those balls down with speed and nails them. There is nothing slow about them at all.

Impressive to see.
 
What I thought was impressive was the lack of time he took to set up the last trick shot. Ever one knows that the trick to some trick shots is the set up and he threw them up there and hardly gave them a glance before he nailed it.:cool:
 
Your right..he does roll them w/speed.

If you have ever tried to shoot one, you know how tough it is just to roll the ball right. It looks easy....(It's NOT!)

One after another...and then having to shoot them.

hand-eye coordination at it's finest.

Have you seen in B.D. magazine, the "10 years ago" and "25 yrs ago" columns? A few yrs ago they had a Earl story. 10 yrs ago..

"Earl wins Ohio Open, shoots 69 at the golf course, and beats the local tennis pro."

All during that 1 week period, during the tourny.

The Man IS talented, to put it mildly.
 
Earl is probably one of the greatest players ever!! Lets face it when the guy is on and he keeps his head straight he can play and beat anyone!!
He lets his emotions get the better of him at times but thats just Earl!

Well...if you know anything about trick shots, you know that he set that shot up, by strongly tapping ALL the balls into place, long before he was in front of the crowd. That way you can make it look like you're just 'throwing' the balls up there, and they 'fall' into place. Nonetheless, it is an impressive shot, as all you have to do is be a hair off, in your stroke, and you won't make all the balls. Nice shot Earl! :D
