Earl was about to win 3 in a row and was playing very well. Then he slow rolled a ball with an open table and hung it in the jaws to let Shane win the game. Slammed his cue in the process, but didn't break.

This is just silly. Eveyone knew that SVB was going to win this, and it's turning out how everyone expected.
I hope that if the next AC features Shane that they pit him against someone at his level. This reminds me of that CJ Wiley vs John Schmidt match I had the 'pleasure' of watching... *sigh* This is just hard to take for someone who is a fan of Earl.
