Working on it. Any one interested in putting up a whole bunch of money and making very little for our viewers entertainment, contact Mike Gulyassy at 864-458-7662. I would like to share this with others.
I know this thread is supposed to be meant in jest. It's so true that the stakehorse does take the biggest risk with the smallest amount of return in a pool happening such as an action match. After expenses and the chop-chop, the stakehorse might be lucky to get back 20 percent on the money.
Several years ago, my partner was offered 20 percent from a prospective stakehorse to compete in a game of high stakes, which he declined.
Some backers realize the return on investment is just too doggone risky; thus, why some are only offering 20 and 30 percent to the pool player competitor. I totally understand. It's not a good deal for a backer or stakehorse to enter into one of these arrangements. Just like in horse races, there's never a lock when you're gambling.
