I have been checking out some cues he has on his web site,

And i am just wondering if anyone has bought anything from him? And what thier experience was dealing with him.

I bought one cue from him and everything was above board. Good price, good communication. Since then, we have met and played together quite a few times. He has let me try out his cues. I'll say" Bring the southwest with You" and he doesn't mind letting me hit around with them.

Great guy. Great cues.

Same from me on all of the above. Erik is 1st class to deal with. Honest, fast, fair price, good communication - the total package.

Bought a Schon LTD a couple of years back and the entire process was perfect and his prices really can't be beat. Great guy and don't hesitate.

I just bought the burlwood Mottey from Erik and, let me tell ya! He is the best businessman out there. I've bought cues from other people before, both firstahnd and through the internet, and the transaction with Erik was by far the best. I had a problem with Paypal at first but because of my interest in the cue, he held it for me for nearly two weeks until the porblem cleared up. He made little or no profit off the cue at all and he even covered the shipping; overnight express, fully insured for the total value of the cue. Erik is one of the best businessman out there. Anyone who tells you differently is lying.

I've said it several times before and I'll say it again with pleasure, Erik Lee is great to deal with. An excellent assortment of cues to choose from, very very competitive prices, but best of all, top notch service. Trust me, you can't go wrong.

You bought that Mottey, you DOG?!?!? :D

Erik would sell more if he was set up with PLASTIC. I don't do Pay Pal...

Hi Bruce,

From what I know, Erik sells cues to support his cue collecting and league play. His margin of profit is very little, that is why his prices are so competitive to the point of being cheaper than some other dealers. To him, its not a business and setting up a merchant account to accept credit cards wouldn't be cost affective. I know it leaves out a lot of potential buyers, but the turn around on his inventory is so fast, I hardly see the same cue sitting on his site for more than 3-4 months. PayPal isn't the greatest either, but its what works for Erik for the time. Please don't let that keep you from dealing with him, you'll regret on missing out on a good cue. Thats just my personal thoughts.

I don't use paypal either because they put a limit on you unless you give them your checking account information. They don't need that, my credit card info is sufficient. I'm not planning on buying in the near future, but I'm wondering does he accept checks, or money orders?

Potential buyers ..do not be afraid to send and deal with Erik...when you have an honest guy like him there will be No problems...i too like VISA but the business people have to pass their cost on to the consumer ..in Erik's case he has everything priced as low as possible.....

From what I know, Erik does accept checks and/or money orders. Its best to contact him to know for sure. I do recall chatting with him a few times and he had to cut our conversations short so that he could run to the bank and deposit checks he got for cue deals, so that is definitely an option for payment.

He took my check.I had to wait for it to clear the bank and that's understandable,he doesn't know me.YES,I would buy from him again.

What can I say Scott except that I'm a sucker for two things when it comes to cues: burl and Paul Mottey. This fit the bill on both accounts. And when I priced it, it added up. Paul charges $1500 for a 4 pointer plus $250 for the ivory joint and $100 for the hoppe/rambow ring. Added up, that's $1850. I paid $1900 and I didn't have to pay for the insurance or the shipping!

My only complaint has to do with Paul and not Erik. That black linen wrap has to go!!! :D

We are of the same mind. I loved that cue (virtually) the 1st time I saw it and the wrap needs to go. What are you going to replace it with? Enjoy it!!
