T Man, I'm sending my most powerful energy your way now. I think your mom is going to be fine. That little vein will shrink up and it is healing itself right now.

My mother had a brain hemhorrage yesterday. All of a sudden she had really intense pain in her head and blacked out. Luckily she didn't hit anything when she fell. The CT scan showed that it was from an old anneurism. At the hospital the doctors said that they thought it might clot and heal itself and they wouldn't have to do surgery, but I just found out that they are gonna have to do the surgery on Wednesday morning.

Earlier today they woke her up from a long sleep to give her more medication and she didn't know who my step dad was and she didn't know what year it was. She is only 57 years old. The doctors seemed to think that it was more from the medication and the long sleep though, which is good. The surgery is major and will take 2-3 hours. They have to go through the side of her head and put a clamp on the base of the anneurism. Needless to say, I am scared as hell. She is a special lady and is the most loving mother that anyone could have. She has to be special to put up with all of my sh*t for all these years.

Please keep her in your prayers over the next few days. Thank you.

Corvette, though I've never met you in person, I've always liked how you are not scared to put your opinion out there(pretty or ugly, like it or not). And when we bet together you have been the epitome of a stand up guy. I just want you to know that there are thousands of us here that will definately think of your mother and the religious ones of us(myself included) will certainly keep her and you in our prayers. Stay strong and your mother will certainly feed from that.

all the best the world has to offer,
Kevin Brown

Father God we want to hold up corvette1340’s mom to your throne. We want to ask that you would be with her and place special attention on her healing. First we pray for a divine healing (that is always fun conversation Father) but if you choose to go through the practice of medicine I pray that you would give each and every doctor a special interest in corvette1340’s Mom. That she would have the exact doctor to perform the surgery and that she would be 100% again so she can continue to do what she loves doing, loving her family. Give the doctors insight into any medications she may need as well. And one more special request, please be with all of her loved ones, calm their hearts and give them peace during this very tough time in their family.
All Glory and Honor to you. Thank you in advance…Love you.
It is in Your Son Jesus’ name I pray, Amen

i feel for you bro! i'm a mama's boy for sure. she'll be in my prayers tonight

I'm overwhelmed by all of the support, really an amazing gesture by a lot of people that I've grown to love, respect, and interact with on a daily basis. Even though I haven't even met most of you, you still show caring like we've known each other forever. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

I know that I can come off as abrasive at times and I often speak my mind without fully thinking first. A lot of my posts are in a comedic nature, but I believe that laughter and humor are the most important things in life. I'm gonna try and keep that in mind for the next few days. ( I think I saw them wheeling Doug Young into the ER yesterday !)

I've sometimes managed to come off in an arogant way, but it was because I've worked my ass off to have what I've got today. I thought about that a lot last night, and believe me when I say that I would give up ALL of it in a second if it would insure that my mom would be ok.

I was gonna do something special for my 5000th post, but I think I'll hope and pray that I can save it to post that everything went well on Wednesday morning and that my mom makes it ok.

Again, thank you all for all of the kind words. It helps more than you know.

My avatar is a picture of my mom and my little girl taken about a year ago.
