I am with Jimmy, Earl's exit from the open was embarrasing, once again. For those that support him best of luck to you voting him in. He will probably win the vote because all the European team fans will vote for him:eek::grin-square::grin:

ok, ok, ok. my final word on this is, its shite that earls not on the team, regardless USA will not win, but at least earl would have brought some flair class and entertainment to the tournament! who cares about his antics, we need guys like earl, john mcenroe, alex higgins, ronnie o'sullivan
without them theres no fun and excitment in the sports........
now that it has been decided that earl wont feature, watch the tv viewing figures dwindle!

I just heard that Matchroom sports made the final decision to take Earl off the short list based on you starting 47 threads for people to vote him in. Way to go man, you ruined his chances.
 
Well Shit!

I always kinda dug Earl, since he's distant family, sharing the same name and all. Maybe I'm like him a little and that's why he would get my vote. Hell!, Tiger Woods is the greatest golfer the world has seen in recent times and I've seen him display less than perfect sportsman like conduct on the course. I'm sure most folks would like to see him on the ryder cup team representing the USA, though. Not trying to change the subject by any means, with a reference to golf, but face it. These guys are professionals at what they do and it seems that sometimes we forget that they're also human. So long as they're not going over the line I'm ok with a little bit of ego. It's not like they're the President getting a BJ from some chubby intern named monica.

Tiger is the best golfer in the world. Earl is not even in the top 10 Americans. Big difference.

You got to be kidding!!!! What has Earl ever done to me? Let me tell you exactly what Earl had done to me.

1. Earl represents me every time he plays in the Mosconi cup and when he asks like a ass he makes me look bad to the entire world.
2. When Earl cheats on national TV he is pushing would be investors away from pool. People want to invest in organization and people who are positive and have the stuff together. One reason why the pro men don't have more on the ball is because of what Earl does. So he is taking money away from everyone.

I'm sorry there are people out there that walk around with blinders on and can't connect the dots when it comes to Earl and others who act like him.

Earl didnt qualify high enough in the US Open....his attitude is crappy....why should be be on the team...it should only be reserved for high caliber players...and someone who is positive for the sport..
