Win a FREE Mosconi Cup

FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER, pool fans from two great continents can show their allegiance by selecting their favourite Mosconi Cup souvenir, as two similarly designed commemorative gifts have been commissioned for the fans choice - one for the USA and one for Europe - and in a unique twist, the popularity of each product will be tracked and displayed on a bar chart for everyone to see.

The souvenir coffee mugs, dubbed "Mosconi Cups" salute the epic 17 year pool battle that has pitted continent against continent as Europe and the USA vie for pool supremacy, but never before have the fans been able to pay homage to their revered team with an individual keepsake, customised specifically for their own side of the Atlantic!

The "Mosconi Cups" have the beautifully designed event logo, printed in photo quality underneath the glaze, with each continent's flag on the reverse - they are dishwasher safe, robustly constructed and printed using long lasting, bright colours. David Knight, producer of the souvenir, which is officially licensed by Matchroom Sport, today said, "This is by far the best mug we've made for Matchroom, we're really pleased with the result, the Mosconi Cup logo is superbly designed, the colours are so vivid, we're sure this will be a very popular memento of this terrific event".

Mosconi Cups are available exclusively at www.TheProShop.biz which is also where you can view the popularity bar chart!

Who will win in the popularity stakes - will it be Europe, or USA?

I think this has run it's course, so we'll use the MegaMillions Televised Lottery to choose the winner. www.megamillions.com/numbers/ - First ball drawn selects the winning group (24-46=high is Grp B, 1-23=low is Grp A), MegaBall selects the winning number. Thanks for helping and playing in our fun game.)

Good luck to everyone and thanks for playing!

Yeah, they're not cheap are they? Sales have been quite modest so far and this is almost certainly down to our failure to hit a more attractive price point. It's fair to say the mug is over-engineered for the souvenir market... The printing quality is perhaps of too high a standard (actually photographic quality) and it's also underneath the glaze, making it dishwasher safe and very long-lasting. This, and the fact that we can't buy 10 million of them is the reason for the higher price - however you MIGHT win one for FREE, and it's likely to be quite a rare souvenir - I wonder if it will be worth more in the future because of this?

I'm sure anyone making the trip to London this year will be more than happy that they can get such a nice souvenir of the event!
