Let me guess. JOEY offered you what you paid for it and you are trying to turn a profit? I hope you get stuck with it.
I certainly will not get stuck with it, I can just cancel the reservation. I simply had the forethought to see that an extra room would be a commodity around this time. If no one sees the value in it then hopefully you're high on the Radisson's waiting list. So if anyone is still interested it is available.

I see that you are new to az so maybe you haven't got the feel for how things are here.
While there certainly are exceptions, typically, people try to look out for one another here.
Looking to profit on another azer over a room reservation is, pardon the pun, low rent.
Offer it to Joey for no profit and make a friend. You'll be richer for it. :thumbup:

I think Joey hooked me up with a room one year or hooked a friend of mine up, do the same for him. You'll find most people on here will not pay you anything extra but are more than likely to take you to dinner or buy you drinks one night as thanks.
Wow, this could be the all time worst start by a new member on AZ. Apparently you didn't spend much time getting the drift of the place before you registered. Several people have politely suggested the way for you to handle this but this is your response? Now it seems obvious the only reason you joined here was to try and profiteer on your "forethought" but I'm guessing your forethought didn't include the response you will be getting here for this lame attempt.
And BTW, read the forum rules. If you are selling something - which apparently you are - it should be posted in the for sale forum.

I don't have a problem with someone trying to make a few bucks. I do have a problem with people booking extra rooms with no intention on using them in the hopes of making some money off people. I know people that book extra rooms each year so if their friends forget or extra people from their home town or room want to go they have a room for them. If it turns out they aren't going to use them they then offer them up to people on AZ.
Agreed on all accounts. For what its worth, this can't be a suprise to Joey. He has, as you can attest to, given away reservations in the past. On the flip side of that, he has also tried to help someone sell a reservation. From what I recall, the reservation was made in good faith by the person thinking they could go and then found out they couldn't go, they didn't reserve the room specifically to sell the reservation at a profit which isn't illegal but certainly isn't the road that I (or most here) would choose to take. To each their own.
The billiard community is quite small and while there are thorns among the roses, there are some great people to know. In the past I have reserved an extra room for the express purpose of giving it to a friend that wasn't able to get one. If my friend wasn't able to use the room then I have given it to people that I barely knew but knew they were fans of this game we all love. Personally, I got satsifaction just knowing I was able to help someone out and that they sincerely appreciated it. I would have felt "dirty" had I charged someone for a reservation that didn't cost me anything.
