We played in 98 in an international event at Chris's Billiards in Chicago.
I had him 32-24 in 24 innings. He went to the bathroom came out and ran a 9, 33-32 in 25 ings. FC up.
He won the game 40-36 in 26 ings.

Never seen so many pure threes. Counted a four, 3 or 4 fives, and a seven. Banked one dead one but that was a three too.

Glove hand change at about 4min 5 sec. I've never seen that before.
He shot opposite hand, makes total sense.
Now, several players keep an 'Opposite hand glove' in that pocket.
Oh yeah it made total sense. I more meant I've never seen a player that was shooting opposite hand actually go through the trouble of moving the glove to the opposite bridge hand as well. Of course, I'm watching pool 99% of the time
At the end, Caudron seemed he didn't even care about the run, and was more upset he missed that last red.
Seemed right on track but the ball seemed to have bent to the high side.
And amazingly, that puts him in a 4-way tie for high run in competition with Junichi Komori, Raymond Ceulemans and Roland Forthomme.
Of course he was bothered by that last miss. It meant he wasn't sole owner of the hi run record.
he was in another mental state i think i remember him saying shock and so much pressure, a once in a life time achivement nearly

He was in a '3 way' tie when he did it. Forthomme achieved the status of being in a '4 way' tie.

In all seriousness, given how much 3 Cushion is played and how rare this accomplishment is, I think it’s possible that a 28 run in competition is potentially the greatest cue sports achievement of them all.
What did You find humorous/funny about the enthusiasm of the spectators?
Just curious how You came to that conclusion.
Other members likely know the exact quote better than i, but I believe it was forthomme who said when he got to 27, he could no longer feel his arms.
