:: Fancy Lambros = Honduran Roswood Burl + Inlays Overload ::

If Brass and silver had been used it would have looked terrible.

Always, simpler is better.

Beautiful Cue!!

2 Questions:

Why no little dot inlays in the rings and why were the veneer colors switched around? Was that a mistake or a last minute change on your part. I only ask because I seem to like your designs/color pattern better and would hate to order a cue a certain way and then have it changed without my knowledge.

Thanks

As a Lambros fan this cue is smoking hot! Quite possibly one of my all time 3 favorite cues. Congrats!

The best lambros I have seen. Its you great to design a cue, and have it turn out just as good or better then you imagined. Congrats

Dots were eliminated due to budget reason. My original design (some original details that I didn't show here) were a bit more complex especially on the inlays and after much discussion with Mike and having him to work with a budget we discussed what was needed to be done to get there and unfortunately brass dots were one of them.

I gave Mike free reign in terms of rearranging the veneers to see which arrangement would look better. I understand that visualizing veneers in my head or even in computer would be different than having them in flesh so Mike did what he did based on his experience. True enough the coloured veneers were a lot skinnier than I visualized and the colors wasn't as obvious but still he did a good job with it.

the contrast of colors and the way everything is placed (color wise)....this cue is just stunning....

Thanks a lot for all the kind words guys, was still thinking this loud design and colour would be too much an acquired taste hehe. :grin-square:

JIVE, i think i know one of the other Lambros you have....

But, THIS IS GORGEOUS...WOW......Congrats

You and Mike have crossed the threshold of pool cues and entered
the land of the pimp stick. Extremely well done in concept and execution.
That cue does not look like it had a budget.

Thanks..trust me it was tough not to exceed my budget...

Nice addition to your expansive cue collection, bro.

Love the Honduran Rosewood Burl in this cue.

Congratulations.

Perhaps you might want to get a matching case for this beauty? :D
