Fatboy: Crowning of a KING..

Wow

You are the man Alton, I can't wait to visit the Island, and shake your hand.
Incredible caps. Rod.

I don't even know what to say........................:bow-down: :bow-down: :bow-down:

Me either, My goodness am I surprised-more like shocked. Alton sent me a email yesterday, Now I see why-because I didnt reply to this thread, I logged on to AZ for just a minute and I got a very important call and had to go to my email. I have been moving the past few days and havent been online or playing pool. I took a lay-off playing and came back and I'm playing a ball stronger. I take a couple days off AZB and The best caps I ever seen were made for me. I knew Alton was up to something but I wasnt sure what. I'm completely at a loss for words. He sent me a email I dont remember what it was about, I remember I replied that the Tad was in LA and I could get him dimensions when I get to LA in a week or two. He said that wasnt necessary. Thats all I remember and after I got his email yesterday I was working until I fell asleep with my head on the keyboard(I use a laptop in bed).

So today I fired up the computer and my modem was fried, ATT came out and fixed me up real fast so I logged on and came directly to this thread having no idea what I was going to see. I about fell out of my bed, I got goose bumps right now typing this. This cap is beyond amazing, what did I do to get so lucky to recieve such great caps? Maybe I should leave more often-my game goes up a ball and I get the greatest caps ever J/K.

Here is a side story, remember the caps Alton built for the "Tribute" Szam? Where we had a scrim of Gus on one side and one of Barry on the other side? When I moved from Vegas to LA permantly 2 nights ago that cap was wrapped in tissie and taped up and Put in the tray between the seats of the car I drove to LA. Things get lost in moves and I wanted to be sure that cap wouldnt get mis placed so it was the only item I hand carried for the move-thats how much that cap means to me. Now when I move again I'll have to carry 2 caps, I did pack the shaft caps, but the butt cap came with my wallet, cash and gun for the drive across the desert. Gods honest truth. I showed it to John Mars about 2 weeks ago he was amazed. Its been said here a million times the pics dont do it justice and +1 again. In real life its beyond amazing.

I have said this before what makes Alton such a amazing artist is his caps balance out the look of the cue, they dont distract from the cue, nr do they just blend in. Thats easy to say but to do it so the balance of looks is correct is genius.

What can I say Alton? Thanks, sounds flippant and trivial. I cant find the words to express my gratitude for your thinking of me and creating a first for you and me as well-I never had a cap like this ever.

Thank you very much, for putting your aloha, love, time and best effort into these caps and pushing it the standard a level higher. Your the Gus of Caps. In 20,30,40 years from now they will be talking about your caps and how you set the standard. And Caps are more than art, you gotta have them if you care about your joint/cue/shaft.

sincerely

eric

Alton,
You have just demonstrated again why everyone who knows of your work considers you the Czar of Cue Caps, a genuine artist with worldclass craftsmanship! Great Work!

Eric,
What a wonderful Tad cue! I bet it is just dynamite in person!

Congratulations to both of you!

The work in this set is amazing.
Cannot believe the creative ideas that Alton continues to come up with when designing a new cue cap with some ideas of things he wants to try.
He really knows how to push the envelope of creativity once he learns a new skill.
Really looking forward to the new ideas that Alton has in the back of his mind to try.
Eric enjoy this beauty when it arrives.

Holy Smokes Batman!! Those caps are beyond words.. Fantastic job Alton and congrats Eric on the slickest caps in the world (at least that I've ever seen)
