Fedor over Bergman

Hmmmm......
Filler broke and ran some 40% on Aranas in their 10B match at Roy's.
Kinda funny. Roy said after they finished day one with Aranas leading, Aranas worked with Filler on his break and showed him some things. We know what happened the next two days. Nice guy that James Aranas.

A constant source of amusement for me on AZB is that it is always a assumed that if one has an opinion on a possible matchup, they are interested in betting on it. I have been a member of this forum for eighteen years without making a single bet in the action room.

My hypothetical line in a 10-ball race to 100 against Fedor.

JL Chang -9 games
Filler - 9 games
SVB -5 games
Wu - 4 games
Shaw -3 games
Zheng - 3 games
Orcullo -2 games

The way Fedor is going, though, he could possibly be favored over all of them somewhere down the road. As I've previously noted, he appears to have adopted the Filler blueprint of playing all the games on a regular basis at the top level, so perhaps he'll become a similar all-around superstar of the game. Time will tell. It will be fun to watch.
Now your a bookie?🙂🙃😄

That was on successful breaks. His overall B&R percentage was 42% (41 of 98).
Oops, I didn't see that. A 42% stat is very impressive, but 54% was truly over the top, and such a percentage would put the fear of god in every player alive.

Thats my point...it felt like he broke and ran at that high a clip EASILY...there isn't too many people that can fade that. I think people still are under rating him...in this moment he's on another level.
That really is astounding.

Total control of the game.

He will be tough to fade the next 20 plus years.

I've never been ice fishing but a friend of mine who enjoys it has made the comment "ice fishing is all about the beer."
Shane will post pictures and short videos on Face Book of some of the fish he lands Ice fishing.
It seems that the lakes in the mountains of Colorado have caught his fancy this year. The cold temps don't seem to bother him much and I bet Gorst would not even wear a coat.;)

54% BnR for the kid (41 of 76 breaks).
If you’re referring to the recently played Gorst vs Bergman race to 100 with winner breaks and Gorst won, he broke 99 times, not 76.

The 41 of 76 you refer to is B&R’s after a successful break - making at least one ball with no scratch and no illegal break.

Thats for the guys in shacks/lodges/Snowcats 😉
Last I saw SVB was old school sitting on a bucket.

... and reading closer he is referring to 10 Ball as well... not sure the same goes for 9 Ball... not sure if even applies to 10 Ball. If he maintains that level of play I watched during this event, he is definitely the favorite.
Nobody wants to play him on the 10'

Americas most wanted! Bandits heist Bergman in humiliating fashion. Someone notify ICE ! Ever since they helped Trump they have had their hands in our pockets, literally ....

Set up road blocks and a APB.

Every time we thought Filler might be in over his head, he proved us wrong. Could all the supposition on Gorst just be a case of "Deja Vu"?

I read this a lot, and it makes me wonder why many of the international players, minus some of the asian players, spend an awful lot of time here playing, and many end up relocating here. I get that they have the Euro tour, but I remember someone on here saying how nobody gets rich playing the Eurotour...certainly not making the money the snooker players are making.

Is it because they receive support from the government? Just seems like if pro pool is dead for American players, it would be just as dead for the international players who spend several months out of the year here, or even move here permanently.
Eurotour is only to get sponsors and into Mosconi/world Champs and invitations to better money events. Winner gets like 5k U.S and level of play is extremely high to top 16 even.
plus. I don´t know why Americans think all European countries or Asian get goverment support. I think one or two gets. Everyone else need to find sponsors on their own. And it is hard thing to do without game being popular.

Thanks for the insight. Everyone says that pool is dead in America, but they also seem to think it is a thriving money-grab in other countries. That was the point I was trying to make, it is still probably easier to make a living playing pool in the US than in many other countries due to the sheer number of events on any given weekend.

Heck, according to a buddy on my APA team, has made almost 15k the last two months just playing in tourneys in Alabama, Tennessee, and Mississippi. his best finish is a 2nd place. True enough, he is grinding every weekend, but heck 7k a month is not chump change and he figures he can make that by getting himself cheap in the calcutta, and finishing top 5 or better 25-35 % of the time.

Fedor’s B&R percentage (~41%) was lower than Shane/Dennis, but his misses were way lower than either.

We could use stats like:

wins after safety battle
Jump shots made with position

WOW
In terms of FargoRate, that performance is about 54 points apart. Their current difference is 26, so the result indicates 28 FR points more than expected. That's still within the range of typical variation for a match of that length, but maybe Fedor has been practicing. ;)

Yeah. you are right.
Also gambling here is really non existent versus U.S. There are some but you can´t make living from it. No matter how good you are. Normally gambling is more test of two high level players compete against others. Not what i saw in U.s in my one month visit there.

He might be sitting on the bucket a long time playing these young guys who don’t have Tiger fear they don’t collapse they just keeps playing their impeccable game
