Finally finished my first cue

Justin RC

Learning the hard way
After 3 months, a lot of cuts and bruises, and more curse words than andrew dice clay, I have finally finished my first cue (butt). Nothing special, but I am proud of it. Old Growth Brazilian Rosewood (I know, genius wood for first cue) with wrapless Curly Maple plain jane. My shafts aren't ready yet, so I still have that to tackle. So after 3 months, I have my first cue and enough messed up scrap wood for the largest bonfire in my city.

Cue is not finished till the shaft is done! Looks like a really good start to a cue though. Bet you can't wait till the first stranger ask" what kind of cue you playing with"

Hickory Dickory Dock, nice ****ing cue

Nice job on the cue and the design. Plain Jane or not...you selected great woods that compliment each other and look great.

Much like everyone else has already commented....get ready for a long journey of endless wood stock, the never ending search for remarkable woods, and as always...the great satisfaction on seeing rack after rack being run with your own work.

Good looking cue. Props for doing a clean design that showcases the wood and not some inlay laden monstrosity.

<----not a fan of inlay laden monstrosities
