For Trade - Sugartree

GoTulane

Shizzle-rific
Just thought I would put this up, and see what is out there. Always wanting to try something new, and I wanted to see what other cues might be out there to try.

This is Eric's ICCS 2008 Sugartree.

One shaft has light play, and the other is unplayed.
Cue is in excellent condition 96-99%. No dings, marks, etc.
It's ebony, narra & ivory. It has 8 narra points recut with ivory, and 16 narra scallop flies recut with ivory. Everything white on the cue is ivory.
3/8 x 10 pin.
Fancy micro rings and joint protectors with the micro rings.
Leather bumper.
Check out the pics, and post/pm/email any questions.
I can get specs later, if interested.

Looking for a straight trade, or smaller cue and cash, or who knows. I want to see what is out there. PM or email offers.

My email is gotulane@bellsouth.net

Thanks,

Michael

How do you feel about turqouise? I have a very hard to find older schon wit lots of turqoiuse inlays, as well as an older higher end custom jacoby with turq. and ivory all over it, the schon retailed for just over 1k and the jacoby I just picked up, the sales rep said she guessed (based on materials and production date) the original retail to be in the ballpark of 1500, but I also have a call in to Dave Jacoby to try and pin down this cue a little better.

I love those sugar trees, and would love to lay eyes on this one someday...

Are you looking for a smaller Sugartree and something else?

Let me know,
Chris

Michael,

Wow, you're actually considering trading this cue??? I thought you would never get rid of it!

I'll give it a shot...trade offer email sent.

Take care and good luck with your trade!!

michael have you lost your marbels? do you need me to come over to la and give you purple nurple.....awesome cue gl with your search...i allways have a hard time keeping cues but this is one i just couldnt get rid of....gl with your search and this cue is sick mickey

I have to ask...

Crazy nice cue man.

I'm just wondering about 1 thing....how is the cue not in 100% condition or close to it? I'm asking because it appears that the shafts are unfinished and I would assume the cue would be unused because of this...am I mistaken? Did you use a third shaft or something?

I'm familiar with ferruless shafts but these are taking it to a whole nother level bro!

I think those pics are taken by eric and ferrules were put after the pics were taken. I am sure these shafts would have ferrules now.

Wow, beautiful Sugartree! You've probably had some great offers, but if you'd like to PM me an idea of the value of this cue, I might be able to offer you something in trade that is interesting.

Pete

Sorry for the confusion.

The pics are Eric's pics, I am posting pics below of the shafts. They are thick dense beauties - just look at the weight.

They are finished with Ivory ferrules.

Shaft # 1 has been light played - no bluing, very clean, no dings - 95%.
Shaft #1 - weighs 4.24 oz, and tip diameter is 13.2mm

Shaft #2 is unplayed and clean as new
Shaft #2 weighs 4.28oz. and tip diameter is 13.2mm

Butt has been used - no dings, no marks, very nice - 96% condition at worst - weighs 15.37oz

Since a lot of the questions have been on the value of the cue, I am putting a value of PRICELESS for the cue:grin-devilish:

I do not need to trade it, but I constantly want to see what other options are out there - I have a cue addiction!!!!
Believe me when I say this is one VERY SWEET player, and I feel lucky to have it - but gotta always check the other side of the fence.

Thanks for the all the offers, starting to get back to everybody - This ST will probably not be here very long, if the next few hours, so keep sending those offers.

I like ebony nose Southwest cues, and would like to try a TASC - just some ideas. Wrapless preferred, but not required. Just want to see all that is available.

Low ball offers are OK, I like to laugh.

Michael

Sorry for the crappy pics - my camera sucks.

Yes, it is a very nice cue, and truly shows the skill and craft of Eric Crisp. And it is quite the player also.

But I am sorry to say it is a

Thanks again for all the offers. Be assured this is going to a good home, with a well-known taste for sugar.
