Franklin SouthWest - Tony Chohan's player

but will roll on a pool table today or tomorrow and report back.

You can stop by local post office or local drug dealer's place on the way and get it weighted.

And DJ, yes it was the AK-47 cue .. one of the prettiest BH cue. Only other one I want to have is OMGWTF's BH cue.

Mikey Town, Bama - thanks for explaining it better than I did. Jamie - your levity is always appreciated.

But Ken made me realize that the '3 month' offer was a really bad idea from a seller's perspective, which is why I have retracted it.

You explained this just fine, I just sent red rep and explained that your offer to "gladly buy it back" was merely an offer. That this thread was not a contract that obligates the buyer to sell it back to you within 3-4 months if you want it back. Some people just want to get on here and start fights and tout their big egos around like they've got the dick of king kong or something...

More like the challenges of thinking before speaking.:withstupid:

Says the guy who tried to sell a $300.00 Sly cue as a $3000.00 Searing - got caught - and deleted all incriminating posts.
Niiiiice.

Don't throw your guilt on me, bravo. Whether it was an intentional scam (with built-in plausible deniability) or you're just stupid - I don't care!!

You're just an effen idiot in my book so why are you stirring up the pot??

If this was you selling it, we'd all know it was really a Tai-Can worth $100 bucks.

Your rude post has nothing to do with this man selling his nice Franklin SW, so STFU.

OP - again, great cue and GL with the sale.

Hey, this is tying back in with that "Sly vs Searing" thread! Now that was a funny thread - I can only hope to get half the laughs that you guys generated with that one.

Joe - I actually invite dissent in my cue-selling posts, so this is no big deal; plus, Von made amends just fine. Most of my cues on ebay now have bids, so I'm quite happy, as will be the folks at Discovercard.

Off to play some pool with my -R-/TCW hybrid - everyone have a great weekend!

For you, Ken, here's a special deal: Buy it for the advertised price. If you don't like it, sell it to a friend or put it on ebay (just like you would for any cue you buy and decide you don't want - nothing different here). If you DO decide to keep it, you pay me an annual 10% 'enjoyment' tax. If you sell it and feel regret, you pay me a one-time 30% 'remorse' fee.

In all seriousness, I thought I was offering value-ad to forum members, but I was thinking in terms of selling to players, not to dealers. The idea of a dealer trying to buy low and sell back to me at 10% if they can't move the cue, is, well....a little repulsive.

So, thanks Ken. You enlightened me and I withdraw the original offer - we'll just leave this as an ebay auction - hopefully some of you will think it's a good value and bid.

I'm no dealer. But I have bought alot of cues from people who like to think of themselves as players.

Often a cue is offered as a collateral for a loan. I have done it many times, as most people dont have the cash to buy the cue, and they come to me needing money and cant sell their cue for anything near its value. For a friend I would give them an amount for their cue, and if they later can raise the cash they can buy it back. Typically, I make no money on the cue, and I am thought as a bad guy, because if they cant buy it back, eventually, I sell it.

Most forget, that they came to me broke.

I wish you best of rolls,

Ken

Don't get your panties in a bunch. I edited the posts because it was a mistake and he moderators on here won't do their jobs and delete the thread. I admitted to it and requested it get removed. Not because I "got caught", but because I was being bashed for making a mistake much like you in this thread. You made a mistake. Why not bash you for it? Childish isn't it?

Last time I talked to Tony, right before he went to prison he was playing with a Joss sp. But Tony could play with a broomstick and still runout.

No question, Scott is one of the best, and gets his hands on some
great cues.

Thanks Danny! Well, I can think of at least one cue that all three of us had our hands on.

Benfica - that makes sense. Selling a SW and replacing it with a Joss SP is certainly a good way to end up with some cash in your pocket.

Just checked the auction and it will sell at a decent price, congrats to the buyer who still gets a great price, and the seller who puts a great cue out there for us. This looks like a fantastic player, ebony into birdseye, no veneer, gina leather...wish I had extra funds right now.
:p

Thanks. That's the last cue I will be selling for a while - I only have my player, my gf's cue and two antiques. Kind of weird.

I am the one that bought the cue from Tony Chohan before he went to prison and I will guarantee to whoever bought the cue that it is exactly as represented.

I just spoke with Chohan today and he said he would really like to get that cue back. It is special to him and he really wants it. If there is anything you can do, please get ahold of his wife via Facebook under Tony Chohan. Thanks alot.
