FREE JB Case 2x4

Just like the title says:

I would like to give this case to a young poolplayer who could never afford such a nice case to keep their cue in . Please send me a PM about yourself or a youngster that you know who is dedicated and deserving and serious about the game.

The case is not to be resold. It is branded and numbered so it will be easy to tell .

Please don't apply for the case if you don't need it.

The case was made by JB and is very high quality. I had a small issue of getting an elephant wrapped cue trapped in the case. I have removed the bottom to get the cue out. The case is reassembled by me . The fabric in one butt tube is no longer perfect. It shouldn't be an issue as long as you don't have an elephant wrap.

JB made me another case to replace this one at no charge . That's what I call customer service. I have pm'd him several times trying to return the case to no avail so I thought of this. I'm hoping that he approves of the idea or I'm gonna owe him some $$.

Anyway pm if you would like the case and are in NEED. You must include the Name, Address and age of the person recieving the case. Those of you that know me know I have the ability to check and verify this info so no Scammers need apply. I will make a decision by Sunday night and the case will go out on Monday. I will cover the shipping.

I will post pic's once I get home tonight.

This is a fantastic gesture. I recently gave away a brand new Swift 2x4 case to someone who needed it and it felt absolutely wonderful. It felt even better when the person I gave the case to paid it forward and helped out another player with his old equipment.

Good for you buddy for being so generous.

I have a young guy that I have tried to help out alot that would really appreciate it. PM me.

Great gesture.

I like the way you think. My daughter isn't quite ready for the junior nationals yet, so I won't put in for this. Thank you for this kind thought. poolrod.

What a great and generous gesture. I know some deserving young person will be very very happy. Kudos to you.

I don't know you but this is an awesome idea. A few years back I may have reached out to you on an offer like this, but I'm ok financially these days. Best of luck and hopefully the good deed will get paid forward when the recipient is well off enough to do so. Maybe you can skip church this sunday ;-)

While not nearly as nice of a case as yours or Lenoxs (just a Giuseppe 2x2), I too gave a case away on this site, and it ended up in the hands of a regular poster's friend who didn't have the means to get one. Not only does it feel good, but the person who is the recipient of this gesture will most likely remember it and do the same. Now that is a good cycle to start. GREEN rep to the original poster - just like the one I gave to runout1961 when he listed his case. Love seeing this on AZB!!!!

someone did this for me on this site. extremely generous! and I love the case, as a matter of fact after this person displayed such generousity to me I felt the need to "pay it forward"... I dont have much $$$ but I did have an extra cue. I gave a young kid on my pool team the extra cue I had, he couldnt afford one and was playing with house cues... i prolly could have sold the cue for 100 bucks or so but it felt great to give it to him. he couldnt believe i just gave it to him... he seems very proud of his first cue, and really treats it like a cue worth 100x as much.

rep to you. whom ever gets this case don't forget to "pay it forward" when you can.

Young Marine

There is a young man on my APA Team. He is an ex-Marine and lost his job due to the bad economy. He hasn't been back from Iraq for too long now. He has a very basic cue stick that he carries in a beat up gray 1 X 1 tube case. The case is broken in the middle which allows the case to bend when empty. This fellow is in his 20's. Other pool players kid him about his "girlie beat up case". I know he would appreciate a quality replacement 2 X 4 case that you're offering. I can give you more details in a PM.

the things people will do nowadays for green rep. You have no shame do you sir? lol.

very awesome. I'm going to let my buddy know about this deal, I don't "need" it and won't apply, but he may fit the bill.

A Marine should have a job period,I hate hearing about soldiers who dont have jobs or are not taken care of well after serving the country and putting their life on the line for the stars and stripes and you and me.

I vote for the Marine! I spent 12 yrs in the Corps and if he doesn't get this one I'm sending him one of my own, not as nice as the JB, but I can't have my brother in arms carryin' around some flimsy broke down cue protector!

Sammy Out!

I'll chime in for the Marine, too. In my opinion, anybody that's gone through what he, no doubt, has done.....deserves it....and then some.

I got a soft spot for the military guys, though. Wonder why???... :)

Bump for a great cause. I don't know anyone that needs the case (or deserves it really.. ), but bump for a super great idea.

Hats off to you sir! And that is ONE heck of a nice case to boot!!

I have received around 30 requests for the case . There are many out there who are very deserving and I wish that I had a case to give each and every one of you. When I originally posted this I wanted a person between the ages of 10 and 18 . I am still considering who the case is going to but am going to make my decision tomorrow night instead of Sunday so that I may pack and ship it Monday.

<--- poor struggling college student who is 18 and went into U of I with soph status due to hard work to save tuition money :D
I have a 1x1 tube case but it's cheap and I can hear my cue rattle around in there when I walk. That can't be good for it.
