Please elaborate. Not everyone does the Facebook thing, by choice or their work pc's not allowing it.

Nathan has posted here often, and is involved in some very cool things. I hope nothing is seriously wrong. But from the vague post and only a facebook link, we have no idea.

Friends of Nathan Dumoulin are uniting to raise money to help him. We want to give our support by giving Nathan what we can!!!

In the pool world, it is an unspoken fact that when you need something accomplished-you can usually find the means to do so at the "Pool Hall".
I have recently learned that Nathan Dumoulin of RunOut Media was in a car wreck traveling home from filming at the U.S. Open 9 Ball event in Chesapeake,VA.
He not only sustained injuries, but also lost his vehicle, and much of his equipment.
Nathan would never ask for help for himself. And I have always fought for those who serve to better the pool community. Nathan is a true patron of the sport; He created Mika Immonen's "Mastering Pool" DVD and brought us Florian "Venom" Kohler's Trickshot DVD, and soon, RunOut Media Video Magazine-
I look to our friends in our virtual "pool hall" to help Nathan continue all that he does for our pool community. I know our collaborative efforts can and will make this goal achievable.

Thanks for the details!

Nathan had mentioned the accident and the equipment loss in another thread, which is bad enough. I feared that something else had happened...

(I guess I'm one of the very few left who doesn't have a facebook account or access. They say 1 in 15 people worldwide has a facebook account now.... Adding in the populations of China and India into that equation makes that statistic mind-numbing. And probably even more reason for me to resist becoming assimilated into the hive. :grin:)

I really hope for the best for Nathan. He's one of the good guys, and is very forward-thinking. We will need more like him to move pool further forward in the future. I'll be checking out the website version when I get home tonight.

He was in a bad car accident leaving the US Open and he has physical injuries, his equipment was damaged, and his jeep wrecked. He has been out of the hospital and still trying to promote his new project (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HGVZyQY1Hsg) but he is too humble to even suggest he might need help.

I just donated as I promised I would if a benefit was put together for Nathan. I am SO glad someone started this for him, as I didn't have the time.

Wow...Melinda and Angel's effort are actually working, as numerous people have already donated. I can't articulate my thanks enough. You all are amazing!

And for the record, the site says that the goal is $5000. It is not, and I've requested that this be lowered. Fortunate circumstances have made it so that I only require slightly above half of that to cover the ridiculous deductible necessary to get my equipment back (although that doesn't include my Jeep...but I don't care about that).

For those of you who have donated (or will be), PLEASE make sure you leave your contact info. It's very important to me that everyone gets their free 6 month subscription when the project launches. I can't handle being the subject of charity, so it's necessary that I compensate everyone.

Nate, Dave & Runout Media Crew really helped CSI out at the US Open 10-Ball. It's very unfortunate for their loss. CSI would like to show our support and a little something is on the way. Hope everyone can help if they can.
