They probably would get further ahead if they dropped down a gear or two and eased into the throttle instead of just mashing it down to the floor .

I-90 has quite a few semi trucks and trailers in about the same shape at the mountain passes because of heavy snow fall and high wind speeds .

At some one who is basically stuck ha ha , staying in a lower gear and not getting to crazy with the throttle has worked very well for me .

Looks like front wheel drive car but they have put traction socks on the rear wheels.
