Ginacue Titlist (1 of 1)

I have the good fortune to count Ernie among my best friends. He will no longer make cues under 5K so getting a Titlist conversion out of him these days is (almost) impossible. I would guess for 5K he might.

This is the only cue of his I've ever seen without a stainless or ivory joint, truly one of a kind. It's exactly the same spec as all his joints, 5/16x18, and accepts his standard size pin & shafts. I've seen every cue he has made in the last few years and I don't think I'd trade this one for any of them, it's exactly what I like.

It should be done soon but I couldn't wait to post a few pics.....

The veneers are in great shape

I know this hurts the resale, but I'll never sell it...

He used some 40 something year old (unobtainium) Cortland linen from a 60's cue he rewrapped in leather...

And the nicest piece of Cocobola he had in the shop....

He's almost done with the two shafts, both with the same phoenalic as the joint and butt plate, made from some of his oldest and best maple. Then a bumper on the butt and Finito, I can't wait!

The rest of the cue speaks for itself and that signature says it all. But that cocobolo.....man....it really really is mesmerising...would love to see more pics of that wood in different angle too...

Congrats...if you wanna trade friends let me know, I would do you 2 to 3 for that friend of yours that made this cue...the ones I'm trading you are straight, roll decent but mostly drunk. I'll throw in some cash.

Hmmmm, I already have a good supply of those friends, perhaps if you throw in some buxom blondes????

Hi,

Ernie is my favorite Cue Maker hands down and I believe he is the best in the world.

Your cue is doubtless the finest example of a conversion that one will ever see. The recycled cortland looks awesome and the signature by Ernie makes this cue very special, especially to you. I am sure you will never sell it.

Thanks for posting this special and personal cue. I love it.

That really is the nicest cocobolo I've seen...I don't know why but the word delicious springs to mind...I know it's just weird..

As for the trade...let's work something out..if you throw in the cue I might be able to find some blondes. I'll throw in a few bottles of moonshine into the deal, drink up and they'll make those blondes look like anything you want them to. let's talk in private.

Titlist conversion

This is avery well thought out cue with the new and vintage components. I love it. Less is more when each component makes a statement. This is a special cue. Congratulations and enjoy. Having it signed to you would not hurt the resale to me!

I would never sell this cue (OBO).

I would keep it lifetime (OBO).

Its a total treat watching Ernie work and his ideas and execution are always spot on.

Great cue.

Beautiful cue Joe, I love it!

Good hearing from you again, I thought you had fallen off the face of the earth.

I've got a cue in that batch as well... ;)

Hope you're doing great brotha!

Kev,

Of course you would only want it as your lifetime player (OBO), and being another of my best friends, you would surely have nothing but respect and longing for it (OBO). As well as you know Ernie, just tell him you'll keep it forever (OBO), I'm sure he'll cooperate (OBO).

I've already gotten a PM asking me to sell it, right up your alley....:)

Brandon,

Haven't fallen off yet, hanging on by my fingernails...:) I didn't know you had a cue in this batch. The good news is there's not a bad looking one in the bunch.

I'm going to Hard Times today with Ernie to watch some of the tournament and I'll find out which is yours. If you want me to snap a few pics for you I will, just let me know, otherwise it can just be a beautiful surprise.

Stay well,

Joe

Joe

Go ahead, sell it. I'll give you the words for when you go back to Ernie hat in hand, begging for another lifetime player because you sold your last one by mistake.

And, yeah, Ernie will most always cooperate (OBO).

Pictures would be amazing Joe! Speaking of which, your photography has been looking awesome lately.

You guys have fun sweating the tournament and tell Ernie I said hello.

Thanks so much!

Joe, who acquired the Titleist? Did you find it or did Ernie find it lying around in a box of motorcycle parts or something?

Anyway, it's a good one.
