I love to go watch a good movie at the theatre. Recently my partner and I went to see the Great Gatsby. It was a fantastic movie recreated, The storyline, The outfits, The décor, The drama. A beautifully directed movie starring Leonardo Di Caprio. We fully enjoyed the movie.

When we go to the theatre tickets on evening shows are $ 12.95 each. Popcorn and drinks, another $ 20.00 . I think the price of not leaving your home and being able to watch BB all weekend for $ 9.95 is not so bad. I say this because if you learn the rules and scoring, get to know the players, It is very entertaining to watch.

I am a veteran player that loves to play 1 Pocket, Banks, and 9 Ball. Now I am saying to you now. I am entertained by BB and will continue to watch the drama unfold week after week. If you are a league player, the BB players are miked up. If you listen to them talking to each other, you can improve your game by learning their strategy on getting on the next shot.

Last night watching Scott Frost coach 1 of his players, Former US Open champ Tommy Kennedy. Tommy didn't know how to move in this game, Tommy may or may not have figured out the shot. But having a time clock on these players makes it more difficult if you are not an experienced 1 Pocket player. Tommy shoots straight as a laser, But that is only a small part of BB.

My point being, if you are on the fence here. Give this game a chance, It is very entertaining and fun to watch. Much, Much cheaper than going out.

Good Luck to BB Gary Lutman ;)

You are comparing the price of bonus ball to a movie that had a budget of 105 million dollars?

No !

I am saying BB is very entertaining, My beautiful girlfriend Lisa loves to watch it also. You get a lot of 3 hour matches. And I don't think it cost 105 mill !

whatever floats your boat..............

What if ?

Ill go to the movies

Chris, What if BB is successful, What would your opinion be if corporate sponsorship came on board. A lot of people have no vision of what could be. Sad that you are one of them. I have been told that can't work so many times in business, I used to laugh at proving people and their opinions wrong, Especially railbirds that got off on rooting agains't me. I have made a lot of good decisions in the restaurant, billiard, and nightclub business. I took a lot of gut feeling chances based on what I believed, and not what other people thought. These are the same gut feelings I have about BB right now. I you think there is a future for the Pro Pool Player without a new game plan, You are blind my friend. The bigger picture is corporate sponsorship. And that is the only thing that counts. Been doing what you do a lot longer than you. I have bet it up in action and business. Most poolplayers can not understand anything I just said, They are pro players that don't know much about business. I would suggest getting on facebook and telling your friends to check it out. Time has flew by since I was in my early 20's, And pool has gone nowhere. Excuse me, It has gone backwards. This is my opinion based on history and living it.

If a spot open up in BB, are you in if asked?

Today I have chosen the US Open so far. Otherwise I may have chosen BB (if I were confident their stream was up to snuff).

It's all about individual choice on any given day. It's all @ the psychographics baby!

If history repeats itself BB will do just fine.........

With pool over the years whatever the pros were doing it eventually hit the mainstream everywhere.

Once these Bonus balls get out to the poolhalls and the players start understanding just how good this game can be for pool it's over.

Bonus ball will be everywhere.

They have some deep pockets there and some powerful staying power that they have already showed.

There's no way this is going to be a hit or miss project.

Home run all the way.

I can see a bonus ball league in every pool hall in the next year or so.

Good Luck out there guys. Especially to my young friend, Jesse Engle.

I'm keepin an eye on you. Go get'em......................

Pool will never change because there are too many people in it that have no respect for themselves and others. That's why it is the same as when you were in your 20s.

I'm going out tonite with friends that understand how you should treat your fellow man.

My Man Geno !

Other than that I hope u r right and bonus ball succeeds..My Houston team however is struggling..Good luck with your games and bonus ball sweating Gary.

It is a $3 difference.

You can yack about the popcorn and drinks all you want but in the scenario where you are watching BB for $9.95 you are not sipping on a coke or eating some popcorn as you chose not to add the costs of those into your comparison on the side of BB, while you did on the movie.

So comparing the two actual costs of the entertainment and the actual product you recieve you have

A $9.95 pool match of pool players playing an odd pool game, getting into the occasional arguement or kicking at the air in a very non-Bruce Lee fashion after making a winning shot. You are watching this on your computer screen or if you are really living it large you are running it into a TV with HDMI cables.

On the other hand you have a movie with one of the most well knnown and recognized actors on the planet acting in a movie that cost $105,000,000 to make and which was written by F Scott Fitzgerald, one of the greatest American authors to ever live. All of this and you are being shown it in a theater with a GIANT screen,, projector (probably digital for that movie) which costs over $100,000, sound system worth another $100,000 or so, give or take.

So, they are a $3 difference, hmm, tough choice...

I just finished watching Frost, Kennedy and Chau put on another clinic.

Then I get to watch Johnny Archer next. I cannot believe my flight arrives in Vegas right when the Strickland/Jones rematch ends on Sunday. I tried to switch flights to no avail.

My next Vegas trip will be during the playoffs.

No.

I mean no offense, but coke and popcorn I consume at my house will cost about $2.

Much respect,

Taek

Don't insult my intelligence. I will take 10-7, 9-7 from you. If you ask me in a nice way !! And you know play cheap is not something I have ever enjoyed. Now , Getting ready to watch some BB.
