Good Inexpensive Tip Trimmer

Well I was reading in another thread about Ultraskin tips mushrooming and I am a member of that club. Is there a good tip trimmer out there that is inexpensive?

Go to Home Depot or Lowes. Get a pencil sharpener for a CARPENTER'S pencil.

Use any pencil sharpener-design types including the several Porpers with extreme caution. If you take too deep a bite with any given rotation they can instantly destroy a relatively expensive tip, especially layered ones. Be patient with them if you do use one.

Back in the good old days we just used sandpaper.

I think it's funny I won't let sandpaper anywhere near my cue now.
