Here is a real classic cue and it's in great shape! I'm helping my friend sell this so just email me at max@maxeberle.com only if you are serious about buying this. I have a blue book of cues but it is not with me and we don't have an asking price yet, so want to see what kind of serious offers on this special cue are offered.

Gus custom made this cue for me in 1975, 35 years ago My name is Jim Stanford formally from Lucky Q Billiards Neptune City . It is my prized possession and is still in new condition. I rarely use it as it is way to valuable to me and never let anyone else play with it. I am 67 years old have no son's to pass it on to.

Main stick 4 Points with Ivory inlays. Point colors are ebony orange green and maple 8 1/2 in long with 4 ivory or mother of pearl diamonds.

Original green and white Irish Linen Wrap.

Butt: Ebony with gold bars and Gus Szamboti blue signature rings and 4 mother of peal diamonds and 4 mother of pearl dots.

Wt 20 1/4 oz

Shafts : (2) Original 13 1/4 mm maple with ebony rings and Ivory Ferrols Gus Szamboti signature ring.

Length: 58 1/2 in long
Inlays are green and yellow orange 8 1/2 in long doesn't show in pictures

Damn! All of this stuff coming out of the woodwork!

I smell the piranhas, vultures and sharks lining up for this cue and I anticipate this cue changing hands (as long as everything checks out) within a week or two. :eek:

Max- I know Jim,I used to play in his room years ago.Tell him Bruce Tucker says hello.
And for anyone interested in the cue I can not vouch for the cue but Jim is a real person who was in the pool room business for years.

Wow, great cue and in great condition, too.

Cues like this don't come up often, so I'm thinking there is a bidding war about to start.

Best of luck with the sale... but you won't need it!!!

My birthday was Dec. 31st...... One of you guys could buy this for me for my birthday..............;):smile::D
 
The asking price on this Szamboti is 15k. :)

There's no better time to get a piece of pristine billiard history.

This is a must have for any serious collector.

This cue will bring joy long after the money is gone...
