I've had this awhile and took some new pics. At the time Ron said it was the best cue he's ever made. It has all the bells and whistles and I paid a premium for the finest shafts. It's Brazilian on Brazilian.

Nicest Haley I've seen....the work is super clean and detailed...Flawless!! This screams high end, this is high end. Period.

Yours has great brazilian rosewood, inlays (im a sucker for spears), scrimshaw, rings,colors etc

So nice to see that cue once more - a real beauty.
I saw that cue in person and had to get on Ron's list.
My cue is still years away.
But at least with your inspiration as I was able to acquire No. 156 on the secondary market.
The following year was able to get Ron with all the Haley cue owners that were present at SBE-2009.
We need to do that again!

Very very nice cue Tommy, I was lucky enough to see it in person last year. I hope you make it this year at VF Tommy. It was a great pleasure meeting you.....

Mine isn't close... I would say Stan Haines' box cue is the nicest followed closely by Tommy's cue. I talked to Ron a couple weeks ago and he told me Tommy's may be his favorite from all the cues he has built. It was definately worth another look!
 
Like everyone, I LOVE this cue. It is up there with Myron's gambler cue for my favorite Haleys of all time.

Do you have pics of Stan's cue??. Has Ron started making cues again?. It seems like forever since we've seen a new one.

Jamie holy crap stan's box cue is insane I hate box cues(just preference) but this Haley box cue and tikklers rare black boar box cue changes my mind love them both wow just perfect

I love the colors and the silver inlays. There have been a lot of very nice Haley's posted but this one is my favorite. Thanks for sharing Randy
 
When TommyT's cue came out, it truly raise the bar for Ron.
Not sure he could even make anything better.
But cannot wait to see some of his newest cues as his designs are very creative and Ron is such a pleasure to talk to.

So let me just add the additional information to the picture that I posted (who and which cue was present):
Front Row L-R: Troy (troro with No. 160), Guy (guycrunch with No. 132), Tommy (tommyt with No. 155)
Back Row: L-R: Myron (alpine9430 with No. 156), Scott (ScottR with No. 154), Ron Haley, Jaime (worminator with No. 158), Vinny (Vinman with No. 157)

We tried to add Stan with no. 162 (box cue as shown) but he was no where to be found as we gathered everyone for the group shot.

It was a great and looking forward to one day doing it again.

You'll rarely hear me say this, but this is a cue I'd love to call my own, as individual and well thought out a design and harmonious coulour combination as I've ever seen, and perfectly executed. What a beauty! :thumbup:

I hate paper veneers. But this one, I love. This is my favorite Haley hands down. It just oozes beauty. Love the bridges. Love the colors. Simply beautiful. Enjoy it.
