Thank you so much for the birthday wishes! I'll most likely be "scarce" on these boards today for obvious celebratory reasons.
@Hu: thank you for the kind words, my friend. Knowing that I have a positive effect here, helping others (and getting help in return) is my greatest reward. Part of that process is making sure my posts are lucid, succinct, easy to read, and "flow" along. It's nice to hear that I've been at least partly successful in that endeavor.
@oldzilla: now that's what I'm talking about! That would be a great b'day sight to behold. I know what to do -- blow out the candles and then...

@sokaiba: sorry I missed you while in Denver -- I got the flu while I was out there during the Christmas holidays, and was bed-ridden much of the time. I did recover enough to finally get out on New Year's Eve, and snap-off the Greenfields 2009 End of Year 9-ball Open (and the clock rolled into 2010 when I did so), so it was a great way to kick off the new year. I'll definitely let you know when I'm back in the Denver area, that's for sure.
Well folks, I got my first birthday present this morning, when I checked the SBE website. It's official, I'm registered and playing in the Diamond Professional Players Open 10-ball Championship (

And I look forward to meeting a bunch of AZB'ers while there. I'll be easy to find, if anyone plans on watching some of the Open 10-ball matches. I believe Accu-Stats will be recording one of the tables, and there might be another table live-streamed, but I'm not sure yet. I'm sure the details will come out shortly.
Anyways, thank you so much to all! I'll try my best to check the boards (and especially this thread) during the day, if I get the chance.
