Has anyone else seen the new series of articals on CTE by Roger Long?

just my thoughts... not that they carry much meaning or influence...
i was reading this thread and found that a few friends whom i've admired were banned - it was shocking to me, really
i was a few years ago also banned, but in my case i really deserved it
but i had another side of me that most did not know about, that is the good side of me - so you can see, i suffer from being both good & bad - like most of us

john and craig have been a great contribution to AZ for many years. Mr. Wilson is somebody that i greatly admire [but that is just a personal thing, and i must say that when i became a New Grandfather i felt so much respect for him, i sent him a PM 'bragging']
anyway, the long and short of this already long post is i hope craig and john are back here soon - they are really important members to all of us
and i just wold like to add: spidy, i wish you could give PJ a little space, and PJ, pls give spidy a little space too
you all are great guys...
and even if you can't agree, ok
and none the less, we should all live together peacefully even if we have to agree to disagree

I think you will all learn alot when the video comes out.
John Barton did some short instructional stuff on u-tube on CTE if anyone want to know.
IMHO CTE is the real deal, and I say that because I can not make shots with ease, that use to drive me crazy, and before CTE I had a low sucess rate with before learn what little I know about CTE!

As long as we're all singing a round of Kumbaya, I'd also like to go on record against too much censorship. Even John, as rabid as he gets, is OK. We're adults here and we should be addressed and treated as such, with the realization that: people get passionate about some of these topics; some here don't like to sugar coat things; and that there's nothing wrong with some intense give and take.

p.s. dr. dave: i did not miss spidy's point. i love your new dvd's & thank you very much for doing them - WOW is all i can say] and you are an unbelievable asset to AZ so don't take me wrong... spidy is really a Great guy but also pj is a really Great guy too, further;
spidy is too temperamental sometimes, but you got to love him despite...
pj is too dogmatic sometimes, but you have to love him too...
i have no clue who who is right, but i can tell you this: craig and john should be UNBANNED asap and i lam sure that will happen; plus:
pj and spidy will argue till the end of time itself...
so pls, lets all enjoy they're opinions

Smokey, I have not ever, and probably never will (unless he sends me one or maybe we're doing a buy/sell thing) send a PM to Mr. Wilson. And, the only time I've sent a PM to Mike is shortly after he started up AZ and I asked if I could have my picture posted (and my wife ID'd as my sponsor), along with my player listing. Oh yeah, I also sent him links to my articles from the Las Vegas 10-ball this year, at his request, so he could see what I was writing about the tournament to the group.
I personally do no believe that hounding these guys, and pig-piling on more drama on top of everything else they have to deal with running this site, is the optimal course. I believe that the best course is to say what you have to say in the open forum so that they and everyone else can see it.
These guys are busy enough and sending an additional pleading is overkill, because frankly, they're going to do what they are going to do -- and in this case things are pretty much a done deal. So, I think the best thing is to state your opinion as forthrightly as you can here, and perhaps what you, me, and others say, if we've made any intelligent arguments at all, might have an impact down the road when, inevitably, things flare up again.
So that's it. It's not about letting you down, it's about choosing how you address issues like this and shooting for the long term gain and keeping the group healthy.

in my experience here, i have found that Mr. Wilson is really beyond reproach. he has a dirty job no one can be satisfied with, but none the less he has the innate ability to keep us all 'almost' civil [me especially, no doubt about that]
but laughing aside, despite all your correctness in your post, to me, that in itself would carry even more weight with mike and Mr. Wilson
of course you will only do as you see fit, but in the long and short of it, Craig and John were always Great Contributors here

I am sure John is very busy with his cue case business, and other duties. As for Craig he has a pool room, cue repair, and cue building business to run. Both may get caught up on work. When their time in the penalty box is over, the gone will ring, and I am sure they will both return to AZB to be part of the community.

in another thread someone posted a video but people disagreed on whether he pivoted to center or was applying spin for the shot in question.
what is he doing if not pivot/cte in this clip? lining up some fractional ball stuff? he is practice stroking to the edge of the CB then pivoting to center right before he fires.
