Thank all of you so much.
Seems as if the directions were child proof. Got my photo up the first try.
I am a little surprised at how clean the forum is. I mean it could be cleaner, don't you think. Looks as if some of the males have too many steroids making them only think of we weaker sex persons as something to look at. Come on men, must you post so much skin beside your name. Nothing turns a woman off more than seeing us viewed as cattle or drunken men slobbering at us.
I am 23, 5 foot 10 inches tall and weigh 120 pounds. I am single, like real men, not cattle herders or sloshes, and am too busy to answer private mail for the next year while I study. As soon as I get my past my exams I can entertain mail and maybe a male friend. Maybe.
I am currently teaching at a nurses' school in the P.I. and staying with an American family and sometimes with my Auntie. I play pool once a week, not in a pool room, for 3 hours on Friday nights, do not drink and will absolutely not associate with those that do.
I saw too many beatings of wives in my neighborhood while in the P.I. and have heard some goes on in America, but have not seen it or know anyone who has, as yet.
I must say that I am some put-off by a few of those from my own country by their actions against those they disagree with here. I was sad to read some of their posts, but not surprised. We are not all so agrumentive and gang associated.
Look at me, not thinking like an American and yet my family have all realized our dreams to be in such a wonderful country. I wish I could shake some of you to wake up and see the vast opportunity that surrounds you. So many careers that a person can have without worrying about police and others. In America the police truly do serve. Where I came from there is so much despair, hopelessness, and not many careers where corruption does not touch.
I could go on, but am so happy to be an American citizen that I want the whole world to know how I feel.
So much, much information here. I am still reading years back and afraid that I may not pass my RN exams by staying on this site so much.
I will come on and read once a day and wish there was some way I can contribute here. My best is 4 nine ball runs. Not much I can contribute to help others I fear.
And I do not like SPIDERS. I am told almost daily how I look so much like a Chinese karate star looked when she was a few years younger. Do not try that approach, men.

Tonya, my son says it is almost impossible to meet a woman like you. Alas, it may be because he does imbibe on occasion, even though drinking on occasion hasn't made him a woman beater. He's like his dad at least in that respect.

Either I'm the only one that see's this for what it is or the others aren't speaking up.
There are keywords in our new friends posts that some have missed. I could be wrong and I hope that I am. What I do know is that before joining, I lurked and I recall a female joining back during that time frame. There were things that I noticed about that forum member as soon as they started posting & I don't recall many, if any, noticing or at least voicing the same things. In the end, my initial thoughts on that person were proven to be true. I hope I'm wrong about this one but I don't think that I am.

There were things that I noticed about that forum member as soon as they started posting & I don't recall many, if any, noticing or at least voicing the same things. In the end, my initial thoughts on that person were proven to be true. I hope I'm wrong about this one but I don't think that I am.

Her english is good, not perfect. It isn't really clear if she has ran a four pack or ran four racks of nine ball total or in a night for example. She may be real she may be a figment of someone's imagination. Sometimes we are too skeptical and we have occasionally given a "warm reception" to a newcomer that didn't deserve it. I'm pretty sure that "Walt Frazier" has a new alias on here and is an occasional poster. No biggie and I am not going to light up the poster on speculation.
Even should she prove to be a figment of someone's imagination she is a well crafted figment that will create some fun. Too, she may be exactly what she claims. Time will tell.

I've no desire to "light up" on anyone. The closest I come to any drama on the forums is once in awhile if I feel or know that an injustice is being done, I will politely state my thoughts or facts on that and then step back quietly. I actually took great pains to vaguely word my post so as not to point anything inparticular out. I'm not accusing this young lady of any wrong doing. Perfect example is the thread about Billiard Place. It made me realize that people take in and process the info given to them in different ways than others.

So what is it you see?
Also, send us a link to the former post/poster you are referring to. Maybe a date when this took place and some exact words that were used. Just what "initial thoughts" did you have on that person?
Often times when something sounds too good to be true it sometimes isn't but that will remain to be seen.

My post was just to slow things down a bit before some leaped to assumptions. There is a lot that seems very genuine about Tonya's posts having known many hardworking immigrants. There are some things that seem a little contradictory also but most of us would find similar seeming contradictions if we read our own posts carefully.
