i do say maybe it is travis himself who is getting bored with being annoying and is trying to make everyone love him by catering to every pool playing man's fantasy of a hot chick who plays pool and will give you a child comparable to wu chai ching but either way im not buying what he/she is selling

Men, men, my home is in Knoxville. My family imigrated to America in 1996. IF we had wanted to we could have paid $250,000 and started a larger company and had instant citizenship.

I am back in the P.I. teaching until next March when the school year ends.

Some of you men should learn to read instead of skim. Fast reading leads to missing facts.

Why are some of you suspecious? I wonder why a person is distrustful.

Thank the rest of you for the warm welcome. Let me read, you men post and do your thing and I can learn. I do not want to waste time wondering who is attempting to tarnish me because I look like someone else or because I am a woman who knows what she wants in life.

To stop another wave of disbelief, I can see my airconditioner in my next door neighbors' window. The policeman told me he would file charges for me and make sure the man was jailed for 10,000 pesos. If I file charges then threats would ensue, he said. I feel upset. My family imigrated when I was too young to understand what my parents were telling me. After being back for a few months I understand now.

I joined this forum to learn, say hi, be welcomed but not be bashed. I am a little confused that some Americans would start bashing. I would have never dreamed of being bashed.

Keep your thoughts to yourself. No more posts of disbelief in me as a person.

I do not have to prove anything to anyone least of all to a few whom have such distrustful hearts. If the bashing does persist then your forum is not what I was told it was.

You seem a bit too good to be true and unfortunately there have been imposters and shams on this forum before. Realize that there are thousands of members on this forum. I'm sure you don't let a few affect how you live your life other places. Stick around and if you are genuine most will recognize it. If you are false they will recognize that over time too.

I, and I think most on here, accept you at face value just as we accept other newcomers. Your posts will determine your standing in this community, both as a person and a pool player.

I'm too old of a dog to make any rushes to judgment and I have enjoyed your posts so far. Hope to see you around here for awhile.

If I'm wrong, then I will be glad to have been wrong, as we will have another valuable poster here. (we always need more)

BUT, I thought Walt Frazier was a real poster, and he went crazy in a hurry. I guess only time will tell.

But Tonya, I WILL give you the benefit of the doubt until given reason to feel otherwise.

What you'll find here, is pretty much what you'll find in most pool rooms. Allot of people that hang out in pool rooms have no where else to go, probably because they talk to others like they do on this forum and have run out of listeners. Hang in there, first impressions are not always what you want.

well i stand by my first impression. And if your gonna post on any internet forum youve gotta have thicker skin than that. I heard no one bashing you, just questioning.

Guys; name another lady on here who posted her age,height, and weight in her 3rd post. Next shes gonna tell us her fathers name is efren.

If im wrong then excuse me tonya, its nothing personal. I just dont believe it.
 
Good luck to you Tonya in your chosen career. I wonder if you are aware that Jose Parica's wife has her own nurses registry in Southern California. If you are interested in meeting her, let me know. There are many filipinas who enter that profession in the USA. I'm sure you are aware of that also.

I think you should realize that most of the posters on here are grown men, and many of them spent years of their life in pool rooms. That alone will make you a little bit cynical about people, and their motives. First of all, it is a rare occurrence when a young woman joins this forum. There are quite a few women on here, but most of them have been around the billiard scene for a period of time.

Secondly, you did come on pretty strong for a 23 year old girl, chastising the guys who post photos of scantily clothed women. Yes, it may offend your senses, but you are in a poolroom type atmosphere here. If you entered a typical American poolroom, you would likely see and hear other things that would offend you. You can make a choice to ignore these things and enjoy the other aspects of AzBilliards, or you can continue to let it bother you.

As another poster said before, you cannot be too thin skinned on here. There is NO ONE posting on here who hasn't been criticized publicly on this forum (including me). This is one place that if you get out of line, you will get called on it. And I happen to like that. If you do choose to stay with this forum you will find a wealth of information available about all things pool related, and may even make some good friends along the way. There is a wonderful group of people who post on here, that will go to great lengths to help a fellow AZ'er.

You may ultimately find that AZ is a terrific resource for all kinds of things, that could be useful to you in your chosen career, In fact, I'm sure of that. Bottom line Tonya, you are a young attractive woman, and men will react to you in all kinds of different ways. But you are not a child, and you already know that. I commend you for standing up for yourself, but take a moment and consider how you might be perceived by someone who doesn't know you, and only read your posts #23 and #62.

Whether you choose to continue here or not, I wish you success in life and much enjoyment from the wonderful game of pool.

I'd say you're just the man to do it. I grew up in Knoxville, but haven't been back in a few years. I'd almost forgotten about Terry "K-Town Daddy" Landell. He ranks right up there with Cas Walker as a Knoxville icon.

Welcome Tonya, you couldn't have picked a nicer, more friendly area to relocate to in the U.S.
