I've got a friend that wants to spend about $400 on a cue. Please post what you have for that price, or somewhere around it. I might be able to talk him into spending more but I don't know for sure. Thanks in advance.

You might want to ask him if he's looking for some specifics in a cue or if he's just open to anything. Does he prefer SS jointed cues? Ivory? Phenolic? Weight? Length? Veneered cues, butterflys, plane Janes, etc... ? Or is he just trying to get the most whistles and bells for his budget? Will save people posting up a lot of cues.

1. Pat Diveney 07 sneaky with 2 old lakewood shafts...................SOLD
2. Pat Diviney butterfly sneaky with 1 shaft, couple of dings in handle..................SOLD

3. Phillippi rosewood sneaky with 1 shaft.........................................................SOLD

4. Kreole Freddie curly maple player, 2 shafts, leather.........................................SOLD

and i have a predator steel jointed wrapped brand new sneaky with the red
for 310.00 shipped (brand new)never hit a ball still in the plastic with all the stickers
 
you can't go wrong with Bamacues.he has the best cues at the best prices.those Diveneys are good players.
 
I second the motion that Bamacues is one of the best & that Pat Diviney cues play great. However...

I received this Colorado Cue in trade in excellent condition and would sell it for $625 shipped. It's very fancy but uses earth colors so it's not gaudy. I had Ernie Martinez recut the shafts to 12.75mm using his taper (I didn't like the original taper). The cue plays really nice & looks nice, too. I believe the cuemaker received the pattern from Joey Gold (Cognoscenti fame), at least that's what I was told - if not, you can still see the similarities. about 19oz & well balanced with a weight bolt so weight can be adjust up or down. I think the main wood is Indian Rosewood, not sure of the honey color wood (main inlay), & paduk (sp?) for the secondary inlay. Also has 8 silver dots that set this cue off nicely.

I think the best cue for the money posted so far is the Phillippi sneaky for $275. Just my favorite, not knocking any others. I have never hit with one of Rick's cues that didn't hit great.

I've got a nice 6 point hi-lo Woodworth with 2 shafts, veneers and veneered windows in the butt for $600 if he wants to go up a little. G10 epoxy radial pin.
 
I have several cues nearing completion you can see in the cue gallery if you would like. Non are over $400.00 and prices are there also.
