Okay, guys. How 'bout spilling the beans for the inquiring minds that gotta know! :grin-square:

I don't see it either.

Somebody please let us know what time the cue pays...a link to the actual footage moment would be optimal.

Sometimes the cue must pay.

I cannot understand the commentary. The background noise is louder than their voices. The female commentator is speaking too close to the microphone, and it sounds muffled, so I am having trouble making out the words.

Looks like Hennessee broke his cue when he was breaking the balls, but I'm not sure. After the break, when he scratched, he picked up a piece something off the table, maybe a piece of wood.

He broke and scratched......slammed his cue against the table and it snapped in half. He's done the same thing before, but the cue didn't break. I guess they all have a breaking point.

I think Charlie plays slow. I remember the finals at the Carolinas Open one year between Charlie and Johnny Archer. It went until the wee hours of the morning, like 2 or 3 a.m., if memory serves me right.

Ralf Souquet and Kid Delicious also are notorious slow players.

Shot clocks should be in force, I guess, when one encounters this.

The funny thing about Danny Basavich, though, is that I've seen him play slow and fast, and he could play just as good fast as he could slow. :)

Hennessee's cue break is at 8:23:00ish. I watched the match and it was pretty good:

  • - There is definitely some bad blood between these two. They both accused the other of sharking while sitting down so the TD eventually asked them both to sit at the side following their shots.

  • - The reason they are playing so slow is that the set up at Clicks is SO crowded. When someone at an adjacent table shoots, their body and cue hang over your table. Even without other people at adjacent tables, there is not enough room between tables to get down on a shot near the rail. So for every shot, they were waiting for the 5 tables around them not to be shooting.

Good tournament but I won't go back to this venue as it's not set up to host a high quality tournament like this. No room for spectators or players.

It took me straight there. Thanks for the link. I fell asleep shortly before this match

Its a bit of a shame. I play there sometimes but it is really crowded and not set up to host a tournie like this. I live in SA and won't go by to watch this but I know I wouldn't be able to see a thing. Its really too small for this type event and the tables are way too close to each other. On the bright note though is that slomoholic is rocking the stream. Some hiccups at first because of internet but he's getting together and I appreciate it. Much rather sit at home and watch then try to deal with even getting in the place.
