Words from JOEL HERCEK about the Art Deco Cue

I made that cue in 2006, It’s Ebony, Ivory and Snakewood. It’s an ART DECO Inspired design and to date it’s the only true ART DECO cue i’ve built, i’e like to do more with an ART DECO theme. It’s only the Second Snakewood in the Handle i’ve done, and the only one with Ebony rectangles cutting through the Snakewood. I know it’s been ten years since i’ve built that cue but i still remember staying up late at night an laying out the butt sleeve design. I haven’t built a cue with Ivory in the handle for several years now, it’s very risky to do, but when they turn out, it’s worth it...

Between this Hercek cue and the other Art Deco cue by Manzino we are seeing the finest in execution by two of the greatest CMs on the planet. Very Cool!!

JMO,

Rick

Not to my taste but clearly a masterful execution of an amazingly artful design.

Thanks for showing off!
