Hey fatboy!!!! Any pictures of ur billiard room n Vegas?

Actually, I think that Estate is bigger than Brunei itself.

I was actually disappointed in the pictures. I saw a polar bear and zebra rug. I was expecting to see some stuffed Elephants. Or at least a bunch of tusks embedded in the walls.

I wish I knew how to make that kind of money.

Really? For some people, it comes with a price. If not now, at a later date.

The few toys that I own were purchased used. At least when I'm sitting in my fishing boat, I can relax because my conscience is clear.

The only thing that impressed me in a small amount is that kitchen. That would have gotten put to use.

Why dont you sell that cue in your pic and send it to the needy?

My POS Lee peppers might feed a couple of people for a night, but I still have the right to laugh at a d-bag that needs a half dozen lamborghinis that were gained through the shady business of subprime credit. I suppose I could be a better person if I could devise a scheme to borrow poor people money they can't pay back and profit to the tune of nine figures, but my measly donations to the salvation army will have to suffice.

His business has been discussed here at length... As far as visionary I am not sure everyone would agree but he was far enough ahead to diversify so he only got a slap on the wrist when they came calling....

perhaps "capitalization" would be a better term?
(i don't know about previous conversations.)
i didn't say i agreed with anything. but it sure as Hell was smart & paid off! (except for the non-sensical lack of carport  )

what i do know, is that several people speak highly of Eric - as if, he'd give them the shirt off his back.

PL <---- he still owes me $1.00
;)

If I could make that kind of money I would in a heart beat. Of course it would have to have been made in a way that would allow me to sleep easy also. My next goal is a business that allows me to clear $150,000 a year and when I see someone who has done well above that it inspires me. I gave no thought at first that it might not have been legal or something I could not live with.

The shacks that the Brunei bucks buy outside of Brunei are tiny compared to their real home.

The Istana Nurul Iman palace is the official residence of the Sultan of Brunei, Hassanal Bolkiah, and the seat of the Brunei government. The palace is located on a leafy, riverside sprawl of hills on the banks of the Brunei River, a few miles south of Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei's capital. The name "Istana Nurul Iman" is taken from Arabic and means Palace of the Light of Faith. It was designed by Filipino architect Leandro V. Locsin, who utilized the architectural motif of golden domes and vaulted roofs to echo Brunei's Islamic and Malay influences. The interior of the palace was designed by Khuan Chew, Design Principal of KCA International, whose other works include the Burj Al Arab in Dubai. Construction was handled by Ayala International, a Filipino construction firm, and completed in 1984 at a total cost of around $400 million USD.
The banquet hall, which can seat up to 5,000 people
Upon completion, Istana Nurul Iman, became the largest residential palace in the world and the largest single family residence ever built.
The palace contains 1,788 rooms, which includes 257 bathrooms, a banquet hall that can be expanded to accommodate up to 5,000 guests, a mosque accommodating 1,500 people. The palace also includes a 110-car garage an air conditioned stable for the Sultan's 200 polo ponies, and 5 swimming pools. In total, Istana Nurul Iman contains 2,152,782 square feet (200,000 m²) of floorspace.
Because of its massive size, Istana Nurul Iman makes use of 564 chandeliers, 51,000 light bulbs, 44 stairwells, and 18 elevators.

You and I have VERY DIFFERENT ideas of what "paid off" means.
I'm not sure I see an 8 figure LOSS as "paying off".

He's already paying the price. He's admitted before (and public records show) that he lost money on the place. A LOT of money. And as for those cars, I recall him saying most of them are gone now... just like the house.

House - true.

Cars - Not true.

Its not a difficult thing to remember Gary, when certain statements are made in threads. Certain things do stand out and one tends to remember them
clearly.

I originally made it clear where I stood in regard to how Eric made his money.

After a couple of PMs from Eric, I decided to forget it. I made my point. I could cease to say anything about it but that didn't have to mean that I should forget or even forgive a person if I didn't feel like it.

It just wasn't on my priority list.

The second, third, fourth, I can't rightly remember now, he made a post that he was gone once again from AZ, and not coming back. That we were nothing but a bunch of no minds because we didn't have a bank account like he did.

I took it that he also included me in that statement so I figured, FK em if he wants to be like that.

I had no desire to visit him at his Vegas mansion, nor ride in one of his Lambos, so it was nothing to me.

He has always had a bad back. So do I. Last Cat Scan, 2 weeks ago, every one of my discs are herniated. I can relate.

I also heard that he is in ailing health. Don't know how much truth there is to that either. I don't consider myself to have any real enemies that I would wish harm to come upon them.

But it goes without saying, no amount of money can buy you either happiness or health. Eric never impressed me that he was a happy person.
Too many false friends and hangers on.

If in fact he is in ailing health, I can't do or say much about that. My Brother died of Leukemia a few years ago, way before his time.
And if anyone was, he was truly a decent man that deserved much more than what he got from life.

Funny thread here...

never met the dude, but this much I know that is 1 impressive display of toys, but personally, I wouldn't trade it for my skills in drawing my rock & picking up the pretty
ladies.:D

Eric knew how to handle those monster cars ...

Lol at that picture, "People struggling in the world, ah screw it I need another Lamborghini to impress my entourage."

Besides being a big fan of pool, Eric was an automotive enthusiast who enjoyed spirited driving of exotic cars. It was not at all about impressing the entourage.

The last time I spoke to Eric he said he was planning on selling off most of his cars because his ailing back couldn't handle the stiff suspensions, and he didn't care for the uppity crowd who gathered at the various exotic car events. Whether he followed through on the sale or not, I don't know. But poolhustler in the post above says he still has them. He prrobably knows for sure.

It's how he made his money, by taking advantage of people.

Also, how he comes to the forums and talks about what all he has and how he has called everyone else suckers who will never amount to anything. So what if you corresponded with him and he was nice. He's rubbed so many people the wrong way with his attitude and to boot, he's been forgiven on numerous occasions for his tirades, only to come back with more of an attitude than ever.

He thinks he's the only person in the world with money, and craps on everyone else. He is an awful player. If you'd like to see him play, look up the Fatboy classic or whatever it is called when he played in the ring game and had no business even racking for all the other players in it.

The few people who swing from him thinking that they will somehow fall into some money or rub elbows with his royal heinous are the only group of people that really like him.

Read his posts, look him up on internet, form your own conclusions.

Why all the distaste for Eric? He seems like a likable enough fellow and I don't think I recall him saying bad things about anyone. I've e-mailed and corresponded with him on several occasions and he's pleasant enough. I know he usually mentions his money and/or possessions and that can be irritating, mostly because I have neither:).

P.S. He does not play good pool.

Seriously, what gives?

Ya, um OK. Didn't care for the uppity crowd? That must be Ericish for don't care for the crowd unless they are all gawking at him.

Check out his posts in various watch forums and see how he talks and acts around others who have money.

You should have seen his office then...

The only thing that impressed me in a small amount is that kitchen. That would have gotten put to use.

It was wall to wall walnut, with a solid walnut spiraling staircase and a huge desk with inlayed panels of Elephant skin from an elephant he shot on safari in Africa.

The house was 26,000 sq feet which is monstrous but not the 72,000 sq ft cited earlier. It may have been that big if you count all of the buildings on the estate though.

Eric is good people's....

Everyone that I know who has actually met him and not gone by his internet persona only, agrees with me on this point.

When you have the kind of money that Eric does, people will come out of the woodwork and try to take advantage of you.

He does the best he can in regards to not allowing people to take advantage of him while still being generous to friends.

I have had back problems, and I have done what I can to mitigate their effects, but I would seriously hate it if I had to give up my ability at pool because of the severity of back problems that Eric has, even if it came with the money that Eric has.

The Rip Off Report.

Some good stories here.

I mean, this company was designed for one sole purpose, and that was to steal money
from people that were desperate and had little to begin with.

Once people figured out that they were getting taken advantage of, they tried to cancel.

That didn't deter anyone from Consumer credit Services from debiting their bank accounts anyway.

Theft, pure and simple.

One group of people eating pork and beans and Eric, eating prime rib and farting in their general direction while having a good laugh.

Read some of the stories and don't ever claim that Eric P is a nice guy.

Why? Because nice people don't treat others like he and his company did, thats why.

i can tell you it's all true. per Jay. per KK9. per Scott Lee last week.
been there.

i don't know if i can disclose the derivation of his empire, but i will say, that he was a visionary.

i will also add, that with that much square footage of the Sultan's Estate, i would expect him to have a fricken GARAGE!

The compound has a large garage --

And most businesses that make money take advantage of people. Name me one that doesn't. Does Bill Gates and all his CEOs, VPs, etc. really all need to be worth billions?
