Purdman, I hope someone can help put some real numbers in front of all those zeros. Those zeros are looking pretty bleak for you my man but I am pulling for you to make it through the year with a little good luck and am wishing for better prosperity and good fortune for you in 2007.

The numbers are there Joey, just wouldn't be prudent to disclose them.;)
Thanks for your concern my friend.

I suppose he doesn't want to deposit these $00,000 checks into his bank all at once, that is why he is still sitting on them. Yeah, that's the ticket.

Cash is King.

Once again watchez, you have come thru again. How ya been buddy? I hope all is well with you and yours. Are you going to be at VF this year? Would love to meet you.

I hate to keep bringing Greyhounds up but I wasn’t a big money pool player or did I play in many out of town tournaments or pay over $50 entry.

It makes a lot of sense to spread the risk around. I would buy my $2000 to $5000 Greyhounds myself; anything over that I got a partner to share the risk. Too many things can happen in both sports. In Greyhound racing your dog could get a career ending injury just training even before his racing career starts. We all know that in a bigtime pool tournament with world class players that you can get bad rolls, bad draws, or just have a few bad games. Of the players without a sponsor a large majority of them have backers to go to tournaments. Johnnyt

JT, That's a very good way of looking at it. JS I think is making a good business judgement. He is spreading the risk, while making it fun to everyone and not breaking his or everyones bank. I for one would put up $100 with no questions whatsoever, just for the fun of it, for whatever the results will be. I was just too late. :(

Hell, Purdman can do it by himself yet again, but he gave anyone the chance to do it. Just look at all those zeros. :D

At last a voice of reason! Johnny, I appriciate that post. Many times people don't understand where I am coming from. I will not judge or critisize them, they have a right to their opinion. Rest assured that my needs are very well taken care of. There is a source and a power that few can comprehend. It is the source of everything in this material world and beyond. I honer it, accept it and it sustains me. It is for everyone and it is free. Now how powerful is that my friend! Let them jest, it is only their fears creating this disharmony. What they do not know is that I just lost my job and am delighted about it. Sweet release from the corporate chains. I have no fear during this time in my life. It was suppose to be. I have accumalated enough to take care of my familey and continue to help others. It just isn't going to corect my spelling. I am sorely lacking in that area. That's probably why I am with my wife. She owns a medical transcription co. and can knock out 200 words a minute that you and I can't even pronounce. Take care Johnny and God bless.
Purdman ;)

Reps to everyone that stepped in. Man, I just gave the most rep in my life. :D

The board won't allow me to give more in the next 24hrs. :D The rest will get there's later.

Well I am sorry to hear of your job loss, and congratulations! I am young at 38, but I do understand that part whole heartedly. Also, I too am really enjoying this opportunity to help out and see what this feels like. I am so excited about John playing and feel really good about being able to help, that is has already given me a different spark in life I have not felt in a long time. Thanks Purdy for sharing that wisdom and passing it along.

Sorry won't be in VF. But you are welcome to come to STL to meet me whenever you are inclined. Are you gonna beat me up or teach me to love the higher power that guides you?

I am doing great. Thanks for asking. Hope your health is the same.

And it's early in the morning, but I am now totally confused. You have a bonus check in your hand for the past two weeks of work but you also lost your job? Sorry to hear you lost your job & hope you land back on your feet real soon.

The key to everything is to keep The Flow flowing. :D

Don't let fear stop the flow... ever. Just be a part of the flow and life flows into you.

John,

Big fan of yours here.

Someone on the board mentioned getting a sponsor like Oakley. Well, I happen to know a few people who are "in" at Oakley. I think it would be a great fit for you if they would sponsor you. If you like, I can send a letter to a friend who can get it in the right hands. No promises of course, but perhaps worth a try. Let me know if you're interested.

NOw that's what I'm talking about. REP to you Mark.
Keep us in the loop about Oakley and any interest they show. If John doesn't respond let me know and I will try to get in touch with him.

Excited! That is all I can say about this whole process so far.

I still think the resume' is a good idea. We are all rooting for you to get a sponsor John! LOL, Don't forget to put on your resume' that you come and talk to your fans on AZ...;) We get a few pros here and we love all of them for it. Plus, we could maybe get your avatar fixed up with their logos!
