In Washington state, you can't build anything that serves alcohol next to any church or school...within 1,000 feet, so what's new about this situation?

If the "Hindu's" have a problem with the way we do business here in AMERICA, then they should pack up their s h i t and get the hell out!!! I am sick and tired of AMERICA having to bend over backwards to please every forigner that arrives at our shores! This is AMERICA, our country, not yours, if you don't like it then go back to where you came from!! The whole idea of coming to AMERICA for a lot of people is to make a better life for themselves. They need to realize that they need to change to assimilate with our culture, and our way of doing things, thats the reason most people come here to begin with, their country wont let them live there lives with the FREEDOM they desire. But as soon as they get here, they demand that our country change to meet their needs and wants. If the Hindus don't want a poolroom next to their place of worship then they have the right to move to any other place in the country they choose to, that's what makes AMERICA great!!!!

Chris, I will have to disagree with you. His post is filled with the same passion for our country that many keep bottled up inside out of the "tolerance" so many claim they want America to exemplify. After all, I cannot find an untruth about the facts he stated. This is so full of ignorant I don't even know where to start in on it. Isn't this 2010?

Sad to say, but this what we have to look forward to in America. The Muslims are here and multiplying fast (same in Europe). They do not want to assimilate into our culture. Slowly but surely, they will try to instill their value system on the rest of us. Eventually they will make inroads into business, politics and economic institutions (already done). When they have a strong foothold, in maybe ten to twenty years, stories like this one about a pool hall will seem mundane.
You can call me a racist or whatever you want, but this is my opinion. Yesterday I went to a large water park with my grandkids and their friends. I was there to help keep an eye on the little ones when the big ones were going on the slides and stuff. As we all sat by the wave pool, a group of Muslim women entered the pool fully clothed (shawls included). Everyone else was wearing swim suits of course. The kids thought it looked funny, but even my daughter and her friend could not understand this. I did my best to explain the difference in our cultures.
I told Heather that she can expect to see more and more of this in her lifetime. And some day they may even expect it of you!
This is a good post Jay. The most important line for me was, where you were explaining to your daughter and her friend the differences in our cultures.Sad to say, but this what we have to look forward to in America. Strikes me that Hindu has little to do with it, other than giving a few people a chance to go off on bizarre and ignorant tirades.
