Chesscat said:11-7 Chavez for 1k. the third set remains for $500
worldison2 said:Chesscat reported the results last night. Chavez won the 3rd set, 11-8. Today they go at it again at Clifton Billiards.
worldison2 said:Clifton is Chavez's home room. Not sure why Comet was chosen as the other room, because it's not Allen's home room, but it sure is a great place to hold this kind of action.
frankwhite said:Allen always drops in when he is up North. He knows the tables and conditions. They are great for both tourny's and also action. They have a double shim table surrounded by a counter, perfect to run a action game.

I kinda thought the money would weigh more heavily on Chavez than Hopkins but at the 500-1000 range I guess neither of them will be in the streets if they lose.
