How much is this cue worth?

I think it's amazing and I just didn't know where the value on something like this would stand..I know it was on there for like $40,000 a while back..Thanks
 
I had seen this Cue in the Blue Book 2nd Edition.
Cant remember what the price was. Maybe somebody has the Edition and take a quick look in it.

Very nice Cue though. To be honest, if i had the money, i would buy it.
 
Paul showed the cue to me several years ago at the U.S. Open and he was asking $25000 at that time.
 
Not sure, but the guy has listed it multiple times without any bids. Might just be showing off, seems like lots of people like to do that sort of thing...

I don't know about all of that. Whether or not it sells is one thing, but I don't think it is showing off. This item is a work of art. The collectors of cues in excess of $20-25K are few and far between, so I would not expect many (if any) bids through Ebay, but it does get worldwide exposure through it. I would hate for it to sell through Ebay and for the winner to use paypal...what would the fees be?

Mark and Connie Stellinga own the cue, they have retired and are selling their tremendous collection of antique cues and billiard items.

They purchased the cue a few years ago at the ICC show, I think it is the only contemporary cue they own.

Mark and Connie wrote the book 'Pool & Billiard Collectibles'.
 
It is a nice cue, my wife's not that good at pool and I can't see a man holding it! It's like everything it's worth what you can get so far the price is starting out too high (no bids) Ron
 
I know the seller, he is a stand up guy, i like him alot, i bought a few cue racks from him, he offered me this cue about 6 months ago, it aint my bag but it is a famous cue, i have seen pics of it for years. For the right guy its worth a pile. $30K is fair-but not my bag.

no, thats not the case. He has alot of things to sell and is selling off a huge collection of tables/racks/cues etc. over a million $$$ of items. He isnt gonna give it away and is fishing around to sell it right, nothing more.

with another depression on our doorstep i feel this would be a bad time for them to sell this cue or anything of value ride it out and see if things get better
 
I'm suprised a cue that high end & with only 1 shaft doesn't have a matching set of joint protectors. :confused:

It's an incredible cue! Looks like there's a bidder on it. :smile:

With a cue like that, it almost doesn't matter what it weighs or how long it is. No one in there right mind would ever play with it.

Just my two cents....

Tons of work in that cue. I can't say I've ever seen points cut INTO ivory. Pretty strong.
 
I don't know about that.

For $30-$40K I think I might like a little more then "About" and "Around" for specs and/or details. ;)
