At $30-$35 a pop a match, how often do you feel you would buy the matches? Once a month, bi-weekly, or something else? I'm talking all top ranked player matches. Johnnyt

Top Ranked players. I will buy the matches as much as my schedule permits. I have my own business and I have a family. I love pool and I can not travel to play. If I do travel it is gonna be to a regional event where 90% of the players are not even short stop's and that may only be 2 or 3 times a year. If I get a chance to see Busty, SVB, Archer, Hatch, Appleton, Orcullo and players of that Caliber, I will take full advantage of my oppertunity to check these guys out. $30-$35 is nothing for the amount of hours you are getting to watch these guys play. You can not got to the movies this cheap. I took my family to see the movies to see Avengers, I thought I was gonna have to sell a kidney to pay for it, after sodas, popcorn and candy.

The SVB and Archer match Averages out around $3.00 a hour if my match times and math are correct. You cant but a gallon of gas for that.

I agree with the above. I lso took my wife to the movies for the first time in many years last month. I might have got out under $50...but I don't think so. Johnnyt

I buy based on whether or not I can watch the actual matches, not how many there are in a month or anything like that. If I had four straight weekends open....I would buy four straight TAR matches.

Once a month makes sense...this is how wrestling and now the UFC has been doing it for years.

If they were One Pocket matches with top players, i would buy them 1-2 times a month. I am so tired of 10 ball!

once a month is probably most efficient....

of course there will be times when you might go more than that as some of the players schedules only permits them to be here a few times a year and you have to take advantage of that when you can.

I would maybe buy 2 in a month but not month after month. I think 1 per month is enough for me. Although I do like the new format where if you win you keep playing. I am interested to see if anybody can knock off Francisco. I have never gotten to see Orcollo play so I would like to see him play. Also I would like to see Appleton play now that I believe he has improved since his match with Hatch a few years ago.

It doesn't matter much to me if it is weekly, monthly or whatever. I don't have time to sit and watch an entire three day event so I watch when I can.

At $30-$35 a pop, I would probably average a buy every other month, but would like to see monthly matches to give me a choice of players and viewing dates. I.e., if matches were only offered every other month, there would probably be some match-ups that I didn't care to see, and some scheduled for weekends when I was completely unavailable. I know it would take alot of coordination on TAR's part, but 1 per month should be attainable with a 12 man ladder.

I'm a bigger fan of 10-ball than any other game if I had to pick just one, but I am also a big fan of the "overall" format as well.
