I would be proud to wear your patch! You made my day/year! I can't thank you enough!

Frank

Excellent !! I was planning on playing myself this year, but 3 knee surgeries (same knee) in the last 12 months put a damper on my desire to go this year. I've lost a little mojo to say the least.

But I will be there next year !!

PM me and we can sort the details out !!

Remember, you represent all us aging pool players. And also try to remember... uh, uh, uh, oh well, it will come to me...

Have a ball and don't forget to hit 'em in the holes. We're about the same age so I will enjoy following your progress. Best of luck to you and your sponsor! :)

Best of luck and skill to you. I'm happy for you:)
and I hope you have fun and play your best.

I lurk here & read all the time but seldom post. For this though I'd like to post & say I think this is great.

Play well sir, enjoy yourself & this experience. There's nothing like an adventure, good luck to you.

Inspirational to say the least.

Your post is what I love about this sport. You are going to play against the best in the world. Just to be on the same playing field is an honor. It is a victory for you already.

During your matches, sit back and take in a deep breath while looking around and realize the accomplishment of playing in such a field. Bravo and congratulations.

Have fun!

I've a relative newbie to AzBilliards but I think this is one of the best posts I've seen so far. Play well & have the time of your life!

Hey Wedge;

I can't offer much. I have a horse in the US Open already. Mike Wong.

But since you are going to play in the US Open, you might as well be sponsored as well.

I will send you $50 and a few boxes of Magic Chalk to wear a Patch on your shirt while you are there? Hey, how many folks can say they played in the US Open and had a sponsor? Of course, you don't have to tell them it was only $50 ;) And years down the road, the sponsor "amount" will grow to be like $5K

Let me know. Thanks, RJ

I have to spread it around again before I can give ChicagoRJ some greenies.

Well, I just paid my $1,000 entry fee for the 2015 US Open 9 Ball Championship. I had planned to go to Virginia Beach to watch so I figured I might as well play since it is the 40th anniversary of the tournament and I ain't getting any younger.
Wish me luck!!!

Thanks

Wedge

Good Luck & enjoy the game for what it is. The experience may well be pleasant beyond your expectations. Take some pics so you can share your experience with us stay at home AZBers.

Good Shooting Frank!

This is at the top of my bucket list, I hope to do this sometime soon...FTR, Wedge doesn't need any rolls, he's not dead money. There are a few players on the list that I KNOW he can beat, and he'll give anyone he draws a headache for sure.

Shoot well, Frank!
