I just wanted to take a time-out to tell everyone here I wish them the best Christmas, Hannukah, Kwanza, Jul, or whatever it is you celebrate--- even if you just celebrate popping the top on a fresh Amstel Light on a day you don't have to work.

I wanted to thank Mike Howerton for running a website that's so addictive, it's ruining my life (hahahaa) and for also fertilizing my crops in Farmville.

I wanted to thank in no particular order: RonV, Stan, Lee Brett, Blackjack, Gene Albrecht and Joe Tucker for making me a better player this year.

I read almost everyone's posts on here and whether or not I like them, it helps paint a picture of community. The site wouldn't be the same without the good guys and the bad guys, for sure. I def appreciate them all -- even Cocopuff.

For a new years resolution, I'll try to track down PJ and get him so fcked-up, he'd need days to sober out and spend a week washing off the glitter & perfume.

Spider, your posts are always informative and are one of the many reasons to log on to AZ. I wish you and all the AZers the best of possible Holidays! Oh! it was Ron V.'s Birthday this month! He definetly made me a better player as well.

You'll see me there, for sure. Don't know yet what event I'll enter, but will in due time once the SBE mailings go out / arrive (or, when the specifics are posted up on the SBE website). Should be a blast as always.

Anyway, I do wish a very happy, healthy, and safe holiday season to you and yours, Dave. And I wish the same to all my friends in AZB-land reading this!

Merry Christmas and happy holidays to everyone. A special note to Odzilla- man, I have a pacemaker...stuff like that post could kill me....but I'd go smiling!

Special thanks to two people this year. First, the instructor in the Ask The Instructor that suggested gripping the cue with the thumb pointing straight down. For the last year I have been sucking old guyish and totally lost my stroke. I don't know why but this little gem brought it back. Don't understand it, but it did. And second, to Joe Tucker for those great drills he has on his site. Once I got my stroke back, I have been practicing and actually for a geezer...seeing some nice improvement. If I can get a Saturday off, I might even play in a Joss event for the hell of it (won't take long...2 and screw....)

And actually, to Mike Howerton for this site. I would actually have to interact with my kids and wife if I didn't have this site. And of course to the AZBilliarder's...that make me laugh and sometimes piss me off....but in any event it is never boring. I love you guys!!!! (
