I really wish the forum could add a price box for sellers next to the main title.

Does anyone wish that a price box could be added next to the main title of a for sale thread?

You know, like the way they have it on craigslist (there is a box right next to the main title that lists the asking price for the item).

I understand that it might be a privacy issue (like maybe the buyer does not want anyone to know how much the billiard item sold for), but maybe the price box could manually be deleted or edited after the item is no longer available?

It would also be nice to be able to edit the asking price (that I think should be available next to the title).

I also wish the title of the thread itself could also be edited, but I completely understand about why many would think this is a bad idea (because then people could not do research on cues that have been posted for sale in the past).

I wonder why the creator of this forum has not thought to add a price box next to the for sale items.

Would this not be a good idea, to add a price box?

Lets say a buyer only has $500 to spend on a cue (for example), he or she has to click on the thread, and read through the thread, in order to search for the sellers asking price (which may not even be there).

Does anyone not find this annoying, that there is no price listed next to the title of the for sale threads?

Please do not be a troll, and change the topic, and start lashing out at me (saying that I am annoying, or whatever else in on your mind, that you want to lash at me about).

If you are going to reply, then please just reply on your thoughts about the topic that I am asking about.

Thanks for any thoughts about this.

You are annoying.

I didn't have a good dinner.

I hope it doesn't rain in the morning. I want to go for a ride.

And this dog smells bad.

Lamp lover.

Lol, that is some funny stuff. I really do not understand why the people that do find me annoying (and do not like my threads) reply to my threads. Maybe you just think it is fun to try to get under my skin.

I assume that you do not agree that a price box should be added next to the title of for sale threads.

I actually do agree. It would make things a lot easier. That's why I suggested you get your own forum. You're on to something, at least for the selling cues portion of forums

Maybe

For the same reason you go to the sales section of AZ that you do not like . Wouldn't it be easier for you to search Craig's list since you find that perfect?

Lol, there are no pool cues for sale on Craigslist (no decent quality ones anyways). I take that back, there are a few (maybe 2 I think) in this city of around a million people. It appears that there is no market for used pool cues in Louisville (not much of a public market, I mean). I understand that there is probably a private used pool cue market (on league nights, at the pool halls) though, but I am not involved in any of those tight nit groups.

I actually love seeing all of the beautiful high end cues (that I could never in a million years afford) in the for sale section. It would be cool if there could be a price box for sellers though (that is viewable, next to the main title). A price that sellers could edit at anytime (so that interested buyers could see, before even clicking on the sellers thread).

You may not realize it but if you got your wish you would be shooting yourself in the foot.

You would see a high price and skip over that cue cheating yourself out looking at a beautiful high end cue.
When I see a sale ad for an all original Balabuska I know I am not going to shell out a five figure sale price but I open the post to view a very high end collectible cue. Don't cheat yourself out viewing some beautiful cues.

Billiard clown strikes again > Any more novel ideas you care to enlighten us with ? How about a 'Lazar' on the end of a pool cue, or a training cue ball with markings, or a rubber cue tip.

-Late,

Stay tuned for more inane musings, somewht relating to cues.

Coming up next: does a bacote cue with wrap smell different than a wrapless one?

I really wish this forum could put a "troll" box beside certains user's posts to let us know to not read of reply to them....

Lol, why are you here? Just to be a troll? I should have figured I would get these types of replies.

You are so stupid you think WE don't know what a troll is???
